Chirag, my colleague is a renown car-freak, software engineer and a good organiser too!. Its tough to believe that he took up a car drive from Bangalore to Baroda just for the sake of driving pleasure, but he did it and he drove back too!. His car might be 9 year old, but unless he tells it explicitly it looks only a couple years old!

It does not come as a surprise to me that Chirag took this challenge. I have done quite a few trips with him including the one when we drove to Pondicherry in his 'Reddy' (Honda City). He is very passionate about travelling and to add to that he has a great car, a perfect recipe for a great ride. I am sure it will be a joy ride for both Chirag and Soumya. All the best!

That to drive 1500 odd miles in India , one has to organise a contest is the sad thing. But now that it has been done It could made worthwhile by giving a chance to the passionate, well planned competitors. In that aspect of the few plans I have seen Soumya and Chirags seems at the top. I mean imagine gujju, goan, malabar, konkan, tamil, pondy, andhran, n bengali food in 10 days. Nothing would beat it. I hope you guys make it. Good luck.
