We, Chetan and Hema are from Bangalore. I work for a software firm and my wife Hema is an entrepreneur. We are here because of our love for adventure driving. We really enjoy hitting the road in our beloved machines and driving on endless journeys, be it the hills, country side, woods or beaches. I feel an adrenaline rush..! whenever I wake up on a fine morning, stuff our backpacks, get into our car and head out of town with no particular destination in mind. Leave the world behind, just keep driving and forget everything. We are quite excited and just game for this driving challenge... vrrroooommm...!!

We are the best candidates because...

For us, 'All roads lead to adventure'.. that is how we feel about driving. We are just one crazy pair of adventure seekers and driving is our passion. On any given moment, day or night, we just love being on the road driving to exotic locales. We enjoy nature, like to explore the unexplored and wish to drive the road less driven. In fact, I was also one of the million applicants who were pursuing for the "Best job in the world" at the Great Barrier Reef. Besides being driving enthusiasts, we also are avid photographers. Like everyone else out there, we love taking pictures on the road. It feels great to share the moments of joy and tell stories back home. Ofcourse, we would also love to share our travel experiences by writing blogs. As a matter of fact, I have to admit that I have always been an ardent fan of Mistsubishi cars. Never owned one, but had the pleasure to drive on several occasions. And, I am quite smitten by the new Pajero, dreaming of owning one someday. Finally, the bottom line is we are a fun loving, happy-go-lucky couple who believe in living Life to the fullest. Our motto in life is "Drive and Let Live".

Our Travel Plan

We have been working on a route plan and the road map we intend to take is kick start from Bangalore, drive down straight to Coorg, Ooty, Kodai and then head to Munnar, Thekkady and Alleppey. Next, we plan to enter Mangalore, drive along the coastal belt and hit the shores of Karwar, finally wind it up with the monsoons of Goa and return to Bangalore. We feel that cruising these terrains in a Mitsubishi Cedia Sports, during August showers, would surely make our journey fun filled and enchanting.

Our Travelogue

We have been driving only in India and our past travel experiences have been really energizing and enriching. We frequently venture out on driving trips to Goa, Ooty, Kodai, Coorg, Mysore, Karwar and Kerala. Goa has always been our favorite holiday spot. Our first drive to Goa a few years back in a Maruti Omni has been our longest and best drive till date. We drove for about 1800 kms, round trip at a stretch of 6 days. It was a spectacular drive all the way from Bangalore to Goa, Karwar, Mangalore and back. Viewing the sea while driving through the hills is quite captivating. We have had wonderful driving experiences to Coorg, Ooty and Kodai. Driving these roads surrounded by thick forests, abundant wildlife, rich vegetation, aromatic coffee and tea estates has always been fascinating. Kerala is truly a ‘God’s own country’, mesmerizing in its true self. I feel driving in the monsoon is a perfect getaway, especially to places like Munnar and Wayanad. Driving through the hills draped with tea estates, viewing the mystic mountains while negotiating a curve and the scenic beauty leaves you spellbound. And, every picture depicts a story. Going click, click..! with our camera at the picturesque landscapes, a distant bird chirping, the passing motorist, a lone cyclist, country side whizzing by, kids walking to school and the regular pit stops at tea shops makes it all a memorable driving experience.
