Both of us have travelled widely as kids with our parents. However here we wouldd like to picture our joint experiences on our own. Our first travel after getting married was on a Lambretta scooter to Lonavala and surroundings. Of the most memorable experiences are : - A week long driving trip to the jungles of Madhya Pradesh. We started from Hyderabad driving direct to Kanha reserve forest , the State Tourism guest house located at Mukki was a real joy. This side of Kanha is less touristy and beautiful . The Kisli entrance to Kanha is much more commercialised. A walk on the road leading to the jungle at night springs a view of the heavens like never before, clear skies and stars that one could reach out and touch. The forest is probably the best we have ever seen and is well administered , we saw a plethora of wild animals , tiger, panther, buffaloes, variety of deer, birds galore and much more. A curious fact at the forest reserves is that many of the jeep drivers are original natives of the forest area and are probably as much or more well versed on the forest and animals as the guides who are new to the area. From Kanha we go on to Bandgavgarh, again a lovely forest and joyful animal sightings, each day we saw tigers and our guides show us how to track by pug marks. This forest appeared to be getting over used.
