We are Ravi & Carmen from Mumbai. I am an ex hotel professional and run an entertainment company now since the past ten years. Carmen was an airline professional who gave up her job to help me with my company and is now a homemaker after the birth of our son two years ago. We love driving and exciting driving holidays. Two of the most memorable driving holidays that we have done till now is the one to Kanyakumari all the way from Mumbai and the one that we just did ten days ago all the way up to the Greater Himalayas near the Tibet border from Mumbai, most of it through non touristy virgin landscapes and terrain. We did all this in a two wheel drive sedan through mostly four wheel drive terrain, and all this with our two year old toddler !!! We also dabble in a bit of rallying with Carmen as my trusted aide and navigator, now we have started relying on the GPS as she gets busy during the drive with our son.

We are the best candidates because...

Driving is second nature to us and jump at any opportunity to take off on our four wheels and drive into the sunset !!! We strongly believe that there is so much beauty in this world waiting to be discovered if you have the spirit and a sense of adventure. We are also thrilled that our two year old son joins us in our passion and has even cheerfully sat through 14 hour drives ! The ultimate joy that we get is of driving through unchartered territory and discovering new destinations and capturing it on film for eternity. We always try to rope in like minded friends and have planned out numerous driving holidays for and with our friends. Our experience in rallying will also hold us in good stead for this experience....as also Carmen's love of photography....

Our Travel Plan

We wanted to throw in all the elements needed for a good drive....different terrains, bad roads, good highways and exotic locales !!! So our proposed route would be as follows, Mumbai - Bangalore - Mysore - Ooty - Kabini - Coorg - Mangalore - Udipi - Karwar - Goa - Mumbai.
