Rati: Passion of travelling started ages ago when I was quite young as my father was avid traveler. While accompanying him on his trips, I developed this passion for travelling and since last 12 years I have been travelling by myself or with friends & family. In India, I has travelled from Jammu & Kashmir until Kanyakumari (leaving few places in between! ) and from Rajasthan until Orissa! Have explore the beautiful and religious sites of Orrisa and enjoyed the beauty of Auroville and Pondicherry! I’m keen to travel across North east India and Gujarat, where I haven’t been even once! My trips earlier use to be by train or by air but since last one and a half year, we (Rahul & I) have been travelling by road and exploring places in Maharashtra. We love going for weekend drives and explore the places near Mumbai. Last few months we have travelled across from Daman, Ganpatiphulle, Ratnagiri, Goa, Kashid, Alibaug, Mahabaleshwar, Lonavala etc and have touched the western coast from Daman until Goa! Apart from India, I have travelled through the streets of London, one of my favorite cities, touched the edges of UK coast, been to beautiful Scotland, Rainy Wales and various places in England. Have been to one of the famous architectural cities, Barcelona and few islands in Spain, Seen the tulips and experienced the taste of famous Space cake in Amsterdam, felt the beautiful landscape in Austria and have seen the fashion city of Itlay, Milan. Would love to go to Greek Islands and Barbados. Also have enjoyed sun at Florida beaches and have enjoyed the fast moving life of New York! I also have been to beautiful island resort in Maldives with Rahul. I have also travelled extensively with Rahul in South Arica. We explored quite a lot of Northern part of South Africa. We have been to Sun City, Johannesburg, Mpumalanga and few National parks. We loved driving in South Africa and also enjoyed the wild life there. Rahul: As for me, I always loved traveling and visiting new places since I was a child. But, passion for riding and driving started a bit late. Today, I love to explore new places on my own – driving or biking, and all credit goes to Royal Enfield. I never owned any bike before let alone the Royal Enfield. In fact, I always preferred a four wheeler over bikes, which I thought to be more safe and reliable. It was in September 2005 when I first thought of getting a bike after I came across an interesting article which said that riders from Kolkata and Chennai have actually made it to Leh and Kargil on this Beast called Enfield. The article actually shot up my adrenaline level and next thing I remember is that I was looking out for a nearest Royal Enfield showroom. Well, all those who have ever had a chance to drive Enfield must agree to this... that, it just takes one drive to make you love this machine. 'The Mighty Beast'. And so, within a day I booked a ThunderBird for myself. And thereafter, needless to say… 'The Adrenaline Story' started… I started riding... long drives.. short drives.. whatever.. whenever.. wherever.. alone or in a group... I just started riding. And the passion then started is being carried over till now. I just love to hit the road, explore new places either by car or on bike. Living by my Anthem, the passion still continues… “..And the road becomes my bride, I have stripped of all but pride, so in her I do confide, and she keeps me satisfied, gives me all I need.” - ‘Wherever I may roam’/Metallica. I have traveled extensively in India and abroad. In India I have done many rides and have covered Tamil Nadu, parts of Kerala, Karnataka, Maharashtra, Daman, Delhi, Punjab, Haryana, Jammu & Kashmir, Himachal and Uttaranchal. I wish to travel to North East and to explore Rajasthan and Gujarat. I dream of covering whole of India on road. Apart from India, I have been to London, South Africa, and Maldives. We have traveled a lot in South Africa, and driving there is specially a lot of fun. You can drive even at speed of 180-200 km/hr!
