Sandeep is a crazy "nut" with a witty sense of humour and Priyanka is wacky and can make light of a daunting situation. Best friends and software engineers in our mid 20s, we share a combined thrill for sport, adventure and new challenges. The GDC is a perfect platform for Sandeep (https://sandeep.pixelring.net) to try out his passion for photography whilst Priyanka ( http://myconfusedthoughtz.blogspot.com ) is looking forward to penning down delightful experiences along the journey.

We are the best candidates because...

we are not the best candidates. But we promise to do our best if selected. The GDC calls for a mixed display of talents of driving, photography and writing. However, it also calls for tenacity and a will to sail along 3000+ Kms amidst all weather. We believe that we have the drive (pun intended :) ) and determination to take up this challenge and see it to its end. We're extremely enthusiastic to explore and relive India through our writing and photography. We think we'll make the most of what this challenge has to offer to us. Besides, we bring in a delightful mix of North India and South Indian culture and variety.

Our Travel Plan

Winning the challenge fits well into the plan ( If there's one :) ). However there's no point winning if there's no enjoying. So the idea is.... Roll down the windows, feel fresh wind on the face, listen to soft music, savour every moment... Enjoy the rains with lush greenery, harsh sunshine with arid fields, food with roadside dhabas and culture with temples and tombs... Document every experience and endangered species, photography every site and sight

Our Travelogue

Sandeep lives in the quiet town of Alappuzha in Kerala. He has covered a good deal of south India including landmarks like - Ooty, Pondicherry, Munnar, Hyderabad, Coorg etc. He has resided in Muscat, Oman and have been to Dubai and Abu Dhabi. He has toured in the US and has visited a lot of popular destinations - Chicago, Niagara Falls, Vegas, California ... He currently stays in Bangalore and is keen on reliving a particular trek to ChamarajNagar. Priyanka has travelled extensively in India. She finds her roots in Porbandar, Gujarat but has always resided in Mumbai. She has been to Delhi, Agra, Kolkata, Madhya Pradesh, Himachal Pradesh and Orissa besides several others. She has stayed in Coimbatore and Bangalore and visited the small and meaningful towns of Tirupur, Neyvelli and Nagapattinam. As a trekking lover, she has been to the Wayanad mountains and others around Bangalore. Deeply passionate about India, she's confused whether her happiest moments was gazing at the reflection of the Taj Mahal in the Yamuna or standing at the Chembra peak in Wayanad after an arduous climb.

Im sure this tour would be great for the both of you. I know them as the best of friends pulling each other's legs all the time.
