We are Lokesh and Lalitha Yellapu, from Hyderabad, India. I work as a Project Manager in a reputed IT firm in Hyderabad. She is a student of Phd and is an educationist for Computer Science Engineering subjects. We are married and have been staying together in Hyderabad for the past one and a half years. According to Lalitha, I am very passionate about whatever I do in life.She thinks I have my own set of principles on which all my theories are based and sometimes they are quite extreme in nature for her. She admits that she has learnt to live by them somehow and is quite about it (hopefully :). As for me, she is a " A Cleanliness freak" -- a great fan of Aatif's music and a girl with a soft spoken nature who has the ability to erupt if required,she is undoubtedly my wife and has taken the life's biggest risk by marrying a crazy guy like me;-) I call her Lalli and she refers to me as Chinni !! Marriages are made in heaven but so are thunders and lightening--thats how we are match for each other :))

We are the best candidates because...

Some years ago--never mind how long precisely, nothing particular to interest me on the plateaus of Jharkhand, I thought I would sail about a little and see the watery part of the world or may be a bit of the mountains or the dessert as well for that matter." The previous quote, a bit modified, was from Melville’s Moby Dick, as some of you might have noticed. Since the quote, ever so perfectly, captured my state of mind while leaving my home town Jamshedpur and exploring New India, I decided to have it shared with my wife Lalitha. Being equally passionate about the adventure of seeing the new places along through the long drives, she immediately agreed to join my thoughts as well as the deeds and support me the way I have always wanted(Love her for that :). Together, we intend to explore India as much as possible and enjoy the path of joy and adventure together. We both feel that knowing all the beautiful places in India will take a life time.We just started exploring and feel that we have not yet covered even 1% of it. Let us see how good we are in doing that and it is for you to judge how best we are.As for us, we may not be the best but we surely know how to enjoy and capture every moment of our joy during this drive. Cheers!!

Our Travel Plan

We intend to cover south western part of India together. We will like to start from Mumbai, drive down and cover the western ghats and travel to Trivandrum along the terrain via three states.From Trivandrum we intend to return back to Mumbai touching Goa. During the onward journey we intend to cover the plateaus-some of the western ghats and the interior parts of the states of Maharashtra, Karnataka and Kerala. While returning back we will be covering up west coastline of India including exotic places like Goa. We intend to get an oppertunity to taste the cuisines of all the three states varying from moderate spicy to spicy food. Lets see how far we go in our endeavours together in this tough but joy ride-cheers!

Our Travelogue

After marriage-we have travelled together by car covering mostly south eastern India covering the coastal regions like Rajamundry, Vishakhapatanam, Vijayawada and Chennai. We have also covered some interesting parts of the interiors of Andhra Pradesh such as Nagarjuna Sagar dam, Srisailam, Bhadrachalam all by car. Since its not too long ago that we have actually started travelling extensively, we intend to continue doing this in future as and when our schedules permit us together. Though not foodie but we relinquish differnet cuisines of India cooked in different parts of the country along the highways !!! -- Our best joy ride being a drive from Vizag to Vijayawada in 4 and a half hours !!!..thats crazy for sure..:)
