We are Pankaj & Deepali from Thane,  i am an engineer by profession and a radio broadcaster from Mumbai, Deepali is a Consulting Homeopath and a Nutritionist.we have been married for 8 years now and have a lovely, cute 6 year old daughter, tanushree. both of us love to travel and when travelling we love to drive where ever we go, as we went ot Goa , Mt Abu. so driving is a pssion for me as i have been riding my bike for the last 13 years. love to go to virgin areas and explore the beauty of mother nature.

we are the best candidates because we like to try the unconventional where ever we travel and enjoy the best of local culture and spread the word around. as we did on our honeymoon, we went remote places in dalhousie and dharamshala in the romantic cushion of snow clad mountains instead of going around site seeing.

our plan for the great driving challenge is taking the manali-leh ladakh route, further to kargil and drass, then down to sonmarg-baltal towards srinagar and then to jammu. want to show it to all the indians that J & K is still the crown of India

we have travelled pretty much across india except the north east. i have travelled to J&Kman yatimes throughout my life, ofcourse we have travelled to places like nainitaal, dharamshala, dalhousie, mt abu, chennai, konkan and many more areas and the experience was astounding.we got chance to travel to bankok, pattaya and singapore and it was alifetimes experience, especially the underwater trip at pattya. even today we get goose pimples when we see our underwater snaps. holding a baby tiger at the singapore zoo was one hell of a courageous experience. now we can call ourselves truly tough........
