Unfortunately, we are not like other "non-married" couples. Though we believe we have a kick-ass attitude & strong enough back muscles to drive 3k in 10 days, we are a regular DINK couple working hard to pay the EMIs, take occasional holidays, buy our nest in some god foresaken yet promising suburbs of a big city. We feel trapped in our surroundings, work & elusive aspirations, yet balk in false glory of our great pedigree, achievement & talent. Meet Abhinav, a Strategy consultant by profession, a movie director of gangster genre by aspiration and a happy-go-lucky person by attitude. He loves food, travel, movies, cricket, photography & history. Meet Tejal, who surely is Abhinav's better half. He describes her as a mix of multiple personalities in one person - a dancer, a musician, a geek, adarsh bhartiya naari, sports fanatic, adventure freak & a great family person. A mumbaikar throughout, never imagined to get attracted to a north Indian guy at work & later get married to him after few years of courtship. Together, we make a great driver-navigator duo in our everyday life. We swap roles when required, compliment each other and ensure neither gets tired in the journey.... our secret potion for success.

We qualify all the criteria & will beat most other candidates hands down. Driving Skills, travel experience, photography knowledge, great photography equipment, movie making experience, creative background, boredom from job, good looks, greed for money, craving for a free holiday, cooking skills, consulting skills, sales skills, out-of-box thinking ... you name it, we have it! ;-) Guys, Just vote for us, we really need that money for a good cause!

Our Travel Plan

Some morons think they can drive to Leh in a sedan & have created exotic route maps which are good only on google maps. Our plan is simple - Chose a simple route, traverse through multiple cultures, architectures & landscape and tell a story thru our photographs

Our Travelogue

We have traveled nearly whole of India on all modes of transport - car, bike, bus, train, tractor trolley etc. No kidding ! I have clocked more than 1L kms on long drives in my car. Let me start with places we have seen - Indian states I have been to for travel/tourism purpose - Kashmir (actually Laddakh & Jammu), HP (all places here), Uttarakhand (i fall in love with the Himalayas every time I go there), UP (i am a UP ka bhaiyya from Agra), Punjab (i was born & raised here), Rajasthan (Tryst with desert again in Nov 2009), Harayana (Taau, I live here), MP (i spent 10 great years of my childhood here), Gujarat (chachu lives here), Maharashtra (i found my wife here) , Karnataka (you haven't seen it if you didn't go to the western coast of it) , Kerala (i introduced my GF to my parents here), TN (some funny thing we did at Gingee fort), AP (Golconda fort is world''s most interesting fort), Chattisgarh (have you seen Bastar?), Jharkhand( 2 years at XLRI, Jamshedpur are unforgettable), Bihar (a guy pulled out a knife over a tiff in a train journey), West Bengal (i became a die hard fish fanatic during my 4 months stay here)... Bucket list includes North East (planned earlier but missed due to family emergency), Konark, Puri & Srinagar We have some amazing memories from our international trips as well.... winning $200 & then losing $400 in one night at Vegas, getting a over-speeding ticket in Jersey, honeymoon in Phuket, pork ears served in dinner at Shangrila (Shanghai), missing Indian food at Kuala Lampur, smuggling a chewing gum into Singapore... Bucket list includes - Egypt, Silk Route, all of South America & New Zealand
