First things first, we are not a couple we are two complete strangers who happen share their workplace and a lot of common friends. I am the normal guy, who loves to hang out with frnds, out doors is where I am the most comfortable, enjoy sports and action, read books at times and, like to keep my Thunderbird, well spotless. Aditee is the quintessential girl next door earthly yet suave, beautiful yet rustic, and adventurous to the core. She is a fitness freak and super duper health conscious, training in Indian classical dance form. Together we epitomize the anguish of those who are caught in the concrete jungle the world over, but whose heart lies in the mountains, beaches, sanddunes, forests, who love to let their hair down and dance in the rain, whose hearts skip a beat when they travel to these unexplored places and those who are curious about the stories these places hide in thier bosom. In this endeavour and in spirit, we are supported by Ankur, Pande, Sawan, Anubhav, Ravi, Kumar, Sulabh, Hitesh, Manotosh, Vatsal, Singh, Joy, Kedia, Rachna, Anubha and Pooja all of our office mates who commute daily to the office, survive the serpentine traffice jams through the crumbling infrastructure of our cities, are scrutinized everyday by the numerous security checks, working on the daily doze of coffee and ciggarettes while at the terminal (the name says it all). This might just be the trip that we were yearning for. This might just spell a getaway from the mess that our cities are. Less noice and more music, less traffic and more distances, less control and more freedom, that is what this trip is all about. Let yourself go, take a huge drag at the natures bounty for 12 days, and who knows you might just never want to return :). Looking forward to capture the pristine and the best that the nature has to offer.

We are the best candidates because...

We think we are among the very best whatever be the parameters, the passion, the zeal, the grit and the determination to carry on. We have all of this and more, the best thing about us is that we do not know each other which makes us the perfect combination on a journey of discovery and experiencing nature.

Our Travel Plan

I think the best laid plans are the ones that do not see the light of the day. So, we are not going to worry about the route that we are going to take or the destination. It is more important that we enjoy what ever we decide to navigate to and take in the fullsome air, now the air can be that of mountain, ocean or the jungle. We will figure that out once we get our gear and hit the road. But we would very much like to take the route starting from Mumbai>Delhi>Sikkim>Puri>Chennai>Goa>Mumbai.

Our Travelogue

Although, we have never traveled together. Coming from Muscat Aditee has had her share of fun and the experience of travel to distant shores. While, Aditee feels the best way to explore a place is on foot or when you are on the drivers seat. She has travelled to Rajasthan, UP, Assam, MP, Karnataka, Sikkim, Karnataka, Uttaranchal, Kerela, Tamil Nadu, Andhra Pradesh, Maharashtra and Gujarat. She has also travelled to the Middle East, Africa and North America. She thinks the smallest unexplored places have the most to offer and are full of surprises. I, on the other hand, have traveled to many parts of India, which were pretty difficult to traverse, in my course of study as a Mining Engineer. I have seen nature being ravaged by the greed of man, and I have also seen harmony between man and the wild. The places I have gone include Hutti in Karnataka, I have been to Goa, done Jaipur and Tonk over a weekend on the bike, been to wilderness in Orissa, done a trek to Tosh in Himachal, gone to Uttarkashi and completed the Doditaal circuit, gone to Chennai and know what it is like to drive on the ECR while on a visit to Pondicherry.

Please vote for this team and save the neighbourhood. Unsettled to the core, this high-on-adrenalin team has tried and burnt its hands at practically every occupation in sight in life so far. Perhaps this could be the divine interventation they always needed. 'Pal' and 'Tees', as they are affectionately called, are amongst the most rocking people around. She is a red-hair analyst from IIT whereas he is the 'man of the mines' i.e. a mining engineer and an analyst. The dapper dude is the harbinger of dynamism whereas the fashionmonger, classical dancer is an exemplar of effervescence and bubbliness. He flies a Thunderbird whereas her driving can give even a fighter jet pilot a run for his money. Both are experts in defying the written rules but yet have the guts to come out victorious from any dire situation. If they do not get selected, it would really be a bad luck but if they get, then a rush of energy and enthusiasm will take this challenge to the next level. To sum their presence in a single line: 'wherever they go - excitement effuses, fun follows and rigor reigns'.

Sehgal is "The Dude", always full of energy, athlete with never giving up attitude, fighting hard to succeed in every competition whether its related to studies or 500 mtr sprint and now biking. Always know for his accomplishments. His charm can be measure by the number of nick names he has, if you try writing his nick names, I am sure it will take atleast one full page and still you will miss out one. I am sure, Sehgal would rock this like he has always. Wish Sehgal and Aditee all my good luck...

well...i wish both of them a great adventure ahead...(not without a slight pang of jealousy though)...Anurag i don't know personally but whatever i have seen of him as a quizzer at intra company quiz, i am sure his eye for trivia, un-common and non-obvious will result in a unique travelogue. ..and what can i say of Aditee..which already has not been put in the testimonials. she is all that and more. having worked with her, and more importantly being driven around,with her at the helm of the steering, i can only say...mannnn! can she drive...?
