We are the best candidates because...

Me and my wife are the best candidates as we feel that we have most of the required qualities required to win this unique Challenge i.e. passion for adventure, cars and challenges. I enjoy photography and work quite a bit on computers. We are confident of putting up a good show and satisfying all the stakeholders.

Our Travel Plan

We plan to visit Mahabaleshwar, Panchgani, Satara, Karad, Chiplun, Cuncolim, Karwar, Shimoga, Mangalore, Mysore, Bengaluru, Vijaynagar (Hampi), Sholapur and then back to Mumbai. This route traversing the Western Ghats and the plains of South West India would amply prove the capabilities of the Cedia.This route would also take us through Chandoli National Park, Anshi National Park, Bhadra wildlife sanctuary, KRS dam, Banerghatta National park, Tunga Bhadra Dam which would provide the aesthetic part of this Challenge.

Our Travelogue

I have the privilege of having taken part in the Airtel One India Challenge which took us all through South, Central and North India. That was a most fascinating experience and i still cherish those memories.I also took part in the concurrently held Apollo Tyres One India Photography Contest. We have traveled extensively by Car through many parts of South India. The place which really stands out is the scenic delights of Munnar - Kerala -'God's own country'. Additionally i have been to few Golf courses in South India to enjoy the spirit of adventure and exhilaration which such activities give to me. Amita has traveled abroad with our daughter Ambika..

All my friends who regularly go by car to chennai used bandie about how fast they would get there by the national Highways "I did it in 4 and a half hours " " i did it in 4and a quarter hours" and so on.I once went with Ashok to chennai via Old Madras Road We stopped for Idlies on the way and we reached Madras Gymkhana without hurrying in 4 Hours. As the passenger in the car I never felt he was speeding, no sudden braking,no surprises!It was the smoothest & quickest ride of my life.
