Hi we are Gururaj and Rachana. We prefer to describe ourselves just as Indians, since its almost impossible to define ourselves as belonging to any one particular state!! Needless to add its my profession which has given us this unique trans-national identity. What with us packing our bags almost every few months. A word about my nomadic lifestyle, I am an army guy (if you haven't guessed), and my wife is a teacher and a navigator(and a part time driver too) in our journey of life.We are here because travelling is a passion for us and the call of the road is something we find impossible to resist...

We are the best candidates because...

...travelling for us is not just a hobby nor even a passion, its a way of life. Like a fish needs water to survive, we need to hit the roads and see new places and meet people on a regular basis. We constantly seek out of the way destination and places not found on "TOURIST MAPS". The more difficult and challenging the route and less populated the place, greater is our lure to reach there the earliest!!

Our Travel Plan

As the journey starts from Mumbai, we'd like to travel along the coast and then hit the southern most tip of India. On the way back, we'd like to come through the mainland, visiting the many national parks and wildlife sanctuaries en-route.

Our Travelogue

We started our travels right from the time we got engaged over two decades ago. Our initial journeys were on a two-wheeler only and the routes that we did include Bangalore-Shimsha Falls(a great journey and fantastic scenic beauty), Blore-Mysore(and that is before the new highway!!), Ahmednagar-Mumbai(and not along the highway, but on the lesser uesd ghat roads),
