We love the emancipation within: Of living beyond the Line. We love the elevation we live in: Of seeing beyond light. We roar, vrroom and we glide- For, our life is a merry-go-ride. WE are Narayan and Ramya, from Chennai. Life-partners & partners-in-crime, clocking over 5+ years now through various ups, downs, u-turns, blind curves, chicanes and some fast straights too !! While N has been at the wheels since then (and echoes Sam Levenson in quoting "If your wife wants to learn to drive, don't stand in her way"!), R does a wonderful job of a navigator. One of our prime goals (the ones we plan to achieve) in life happens to be to tour India, the globe and if possible the universe :) An exuberant Rider and an enthusiastic Traveler, we probably are a stud combo wanting to go where Life takes us. A wise man once said, 'A journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step'. Here we are gearing up for that 'single step' which will quench our thirst for adventure and bring forth memories of a lifetime...

We are the best candidates because...

Top 5 reasons why we think WE should be part of THE GREAT DRIVING CHALLENGE: - We know to drive and would LOVE to drive - We can get along well (amicably & harmoniously) for 12 days on the road - We enjoy and love travelling - We are light-weighted and hence better fuel efficiency ! - We hope this will inspire our son to do something similiar, later on in his life & the main reasons: - We badly need a break ! - We already have our wish list ready for the One Million :)

Our Travel Plan

We can't decide on just one. So here are the multiple options: 1) Mumbai - Leh - Mumbai 2) Mumbai -Sikkim - Bhutan - Arunachal - Mumbai 3) Mumbai - Coastal Karnataka - Kerala (Drive through God's own country: From the Beaches/Forts of North Kerala through Silent Valley into the Backwaters of Central Kerala ending at Kovalam,in Southern Kerala )

Our Travelogue

We have managed to travel extensively in Kerala, Tamil Nadu and parts of North India. From the greenery in Kerala to the architectural temples in T.N to the historical monuments in Delhi, our camera has gone crazy shooting every moment of the beauty. The only trip abroad so far has been the U.A.E., covering the seven Emirates. Some of the most memorable trips have been up the hills to Munnar, alongside the Alleppey Houseboats and across country roads to Cuddalore and Chidambaram. Apart from that some rides too on nicely paved 6 lane highways to the Bannerghatta Jungle and ripping through the Delhi - Jaipur express way. (We generally prefer scenic routes and hence avoid express ways unless the destination is more important than the route)
