I, Pravin and my wife Jayashree are happily married for the last more than 27 years and the reason behind it is good understanding inbetween us and confidence in each other. I am from Dhule, a district place in Maharashtra and Jayashree is from Pune. After my commerce graduation I have studied one year of Law and then I joined my family business of Automobile dealership and authorised transport contractors of Tata Motors Ltd. transporting their brand new vehicles from their plant to their RSO's throughout the country as per their requirement. Jayashree is a home science graduate and since our marriage she has been our home maker. We have 2 children, the elder one PRAJAY (name made from three letters of my name and three letters of my wife's name) is a Computer Engineer married to ASHWINI who is also a computer engineer. My daughter, PRIYANKA after studying Fashion Design at London College of Fashion is working with two renowned fashion designers in London. We are a joint family with my parents, my elder brother and his family and my family. My father has been awarded "PADMASHREE" title by the Hon. President of India in 2006 for his services to the society. I had participated in the AIRTEL car rally from Mumbai to Delhi and during the rally we were supposed to click photographs on way and my photographs were judged the best and I was awarded the first prize of Rs. 50,000/-. We through our family charitable trust run many schools, colleges and hospital at Dhule. ALL ARTISTIC SHOT PHOTOS AND PHOTOS INWHICH PRAVIN IS NOT SEEN & TWO PHOTOS IN WHICH PRAVIN'S REFLECTION IS SEEN ARE SHOT BY "PRAVIN".

We are the best candidates because...

From the time we came together after marriage till date we both have travelled thousands of kilometers by road. The best part is I take care of the driving and the vehicle we drive in and my wife takes care of me. This is my golden jubilee year and so we have a rather added confidence and we are sure we are going to give the young couples a tough competition in this challenge which we have accepted. We both share good chemistry in between and we love to travel by road. We enjoy travelling and when together we are on the top of the world. Then we don't need to look back at anything. We have travelled throughout almost all states of India. We believe in safe driving and strictly following the rules laid down by the Competent Authority. From the time I have stepped in this world, my family has always owned cars and I have been driving the car since I have been officially allowed to do so and this makes us the best candidate in this Great Driving Challenge.

Our Travel Plan

We plan to drive as follows: Mumbai - Dhule - Dhar - Ratlam - Chittorgarh - KESHRIYAJI - Udaipur - Ajmer - Jaipur - Delhi - Jaipur - Ahmedabad - Surat - Mumbai.

Our Travelogue

We have travelled extensively through out India and in many parts of the world. In India we have travelled from Kashmir to Kanyakumari. We have travelled from Darjeeling to Gangtok to Viratnagar in Nepal. We are a regular visitor to Rajasthan and Gujarat where we go frequently because we have our temples there. When traveling to Sankheshwar, we have always been able to see Deers on the door and that too in flocks. When on a tour of USA with my full family (11 of us), I had my international driving license with me and we hired a van and I drove from Atlanta to Orlando and back and there was no hassel at all. In the U S we travelled by road, by air, by ship and by train. It was a beautiful experience for my full family. We could do this because we were on our own for a month and a half there. In the U S at Las Vegus, in the hotel lobby, my wife's purse was snatched by a thief and we had a horrifying experience then. We have seen good times and bad times on road. We have seen accident take place infront of us and we have had the oppurtunity to see many wild animals on road. Once we found a tortoise on the tar when we were on our way to Mahabaleashwar. We have climbed the ghat from Poladpur to Mahabaleshwar in 19 minutes. We have travelled to Europe in a bus and have enjoyed every moment there. We have been on the ship "OCEAN MAJECTIC" for 10 days from Mumbai to Goa to Manglore to Cochin to Maldives to Mumbai. It has been a very superb experience. We have also been to Bangkok - Pattaya - Hongkong - Singapore - Colombo - Kathmandu. I alone have additionally travelled to Ethiopia - Ghana - Dubai.

Just so much space is not enough to write about pravin kaka. i think he is the best kaka in the whole world.. wherever we go wether for vacation to dhulia or to mahabaleshwar or anywhere else kaka is the most enthusiastic person i have seen. he will never let us miss on any part of the adventure or never keep us idle.. whatever he decides until it is finished with the utmost perfection he will not be satisfied. he is like the ant who never gives up on anything. and about jaya aunty i dont think i have ever felt that she was my kaki. she has always been a very good friend wether for listening or for giving advice. thank you so much for being there.. all the very best from in your venture from Veer Charishma and Amar
