We are Saurov & Arpita, from Bangalore, India. I work as a Senior Staff Engineer, while my wife Arpita is a homemaker. We have a strong fad on travel, enjoy adventure and accept challenges. We enjoy long drives and travel to exotic locations. Sea beaches and mountain peaks equally attract us as strongly as do forests and backwater lagoons. Photography is another hobby we enjoy both. She likes to appear in front of lenses while my eye blinks behind the viewfinder. So far we have travelled lots of destinations in India, Nepal and California. We are here to enjoy the contest and for sure to take home the trophy. Last but not the least to mention is that we have very strong faith on Almighty.

We are the best candidates because...

We are “of the best, for the best, by the best”. Life is like nifty and we enjoy the best of it. We the best of the best, fit of the fittest. We won't stop until we achieve destination, and we won't stop until we defy the hurdles. They all told me that we would fail, they all told me that we would lose, but we are right here, and we won't lose.

Our Travel Plan

6th August 09: Departure from Bengaluru, Karnataka by 8 am. Arrival at Alappuzha, Kerala by 5 pm. Enjoy the sunset in the lagoons of Gods own country and also the night in the houseboat. More places to visit, rejuvenate by exotic massage. Another night stays to continue. 8th August 09: Departure from Alappuzha by 11 am. Arrive Mangalore, Karnataka by 6 pm. Enjoy the sunset and the waves of Arabian sea with a night halt in a beach resort. 9th August 09: Departure for Panaji, Goa by 10 am. Arrive Panaji in the dusk. Check in to resort. A leisure stay and enjoying the exotica of beaches of Goa for 3 days. 13th August 09: Departure from Panaji for Mahabaleshwar, Satara, Maharashtra by 2 pm. Arrive Mahabaleshwar by 8 pm. Enjoy the hill top and the cool climate there for a night and mid of the next day after. 14th August 09: Departure from Mahabaleshwar by 6 pm. Arrive at Pune by 8 pm. Enjoy the lunch and the night life in Pune. 15th August 09: Departure from Pune for Aurangabad, Maharashtra by 2 pm. Arrive Aurangabad by 4 pm. Stay for a night and the next night after. Free the prisoners of the Ajanta and Ellora cave and back to pavilion 17th August 09: Departure from Aurangabad, Maharashtra by 8 am, after breakfast. Arrive Bengaluru by 10 pm. End of Journey.

Our Travelogue

Our journey of togetherness began with a colorful “Honeymoon in Nepal”. Starting with a golden Sunrise from Nagarkot, enjoying the lap of himalayas in Pokhra with snowwhite peaks and the casinos in Kathmandu over the sinful night. Then the second destination was extreme south, relishing the French culture along with roaring waves of Bay of Bengal in Pondichery. A long over night drive to Ooty and enjoying the mystical Nilgiris. Life full of tranquility but spicy depicts the essence of Ooty. We travelled a lot more to Kodaikanal a really exotic location to relish with leisure and this is “the” place of rejuvenation. We travelled to California, it was a overseas assignment though, but from Cupertino we drove nearly 500 miles to Mount Shasta, we did a night camping with bon fire. In the silence of the night sleeping inside a tent by the side of a lake was really an awesome experience and adventurous too with sounds of rattle snake piercing our ears. A drive to “half moon bay” and feeling the vastness of nature standing in the beach Pacific Ocean gave us an eternal feeling.

I just wanted to let you know that Sourav and Arpita are wonderful! They have been so patient and informative when it comes to planning any tour and long drive! This is my first experience with Sourav, and won't be my last thanks to him! He is a great driver, and he has made my search for the perfect tour a simple one! I cannot thank Sourav and Arpita enough for all that both have done for me! Thanks again! Keep up the good work. Thank you for all your hard work and help with setting up our travel. Needless to say things have been pretty stressful with the office. I think you have gone above and beyond for us. You have been very patient with us. We are telling our friends and families about the top notch service you have given us. I would think a lot of them will be giving you a call for their travel arrangements. We had an absolutely wonderful time! The whole tour was fantastic, the restaurant meals were excellent (particularly the Punjabi Dhaba), and the Mysore Palace was exceptional. I am running out of accolades so I'll wrap it up with a simple thank you for arranging a wonderful vacation that we will remember for years. Wish you best of luck for the great challenge.
