Hey, this is Vishal. Started business when i was in my teens, now I am an architect and a builder by profession. At heart though I am a travel freak, a petrolhead & a professional 4 wheel Rallyist. I fell head over heels for Anushka the moment i saw her. It was love at the very first sight. After great efforts & constant endeavor for 7 long years, i married Anushka. she works as a quality analyst at Biocon. she is very supportive in whatever I do and she sees happiness through my eyes. We both love to travel and explore places. we have a huge circle of friends and love sharing every bit of our experiences with them. Anushka is a bubbly, fun loving, adventurous girl. She also plans of getting her hands into navigating me in the Indian National Rally Championship. We love to go on road trips very often, every fortnight or so i am out on a trip, mostly with friends and with my wife too accompanying whenever she can take off. I take part in the INRC and drive in the 1600 cc Baleno N class, last year I was driving the Esteem and upgraded to the baleno this year. I recently won the 1600 cc INRC TITLE in the INRC round 1 - the mill & monsoon rally of coimbatore. next rally is the rally of bangalore the K 1000...... i am just raring to go ALL OUT and clinch another title!!!!!!!!

We are the best candidates because...

Anushka & me, the lovely but raw, wild & adventure seeking crazy couple always hinting each other at planning to load our REAR SEATS with our luggage & go on an escapade. Rear seats cos we dont want anybody else to accompany us ;-) and keep the boot just to dump all the things we pick up on the way. As soon as we got to know about TGDC the first thing we checked was my K1000 INRC Rally dates. Fortunately it dint coincide with TGDC dates!!! But now I feel,we would have chosen TGDC even otherwise :-). The TGDC 12 day drive theme is so much like us that we feel its designed just for us both and we are THE BEST SUITED CANDIDATES. so guys please, please vote. I especially love to do the most interesting and enjoyable thing ......... driving & Anushka to sit in the co-driver seat and navigate and clicking away pictures which are sometimes incredible & sometimes funny & sometimes only to be deleted :-) !!!!!!!! It doesnt matter if we are driving on the highways or the country side - dirt or tarmac.......... the horizon as the target, the never ending roads that take us to places & let us explore, memorize & learn about different people, culture, cuisine, terrains, places & dive into delicious ripe history very different from our high school grade boring lessons.

Our Travel Plan

CEDIA MANIA - Exploring 6 states and covering about 3200kms. Flagged off from Mumbai we head towards the hills of Mahabaleshwar then to Chandoli national park to the Goan beaches via Ambaghat. Further we drive to Karwar and OM beach of gokarna. From there we head towards Malpe beach and the temple of Shri Krishna in udupi. Further we plan to hit the busy city of mangalore, then to the Forts & serene hills of Kasargod. Then we cruise to the twin cities of Ernalkulam & Kochi via Kozhikode. Alleppey's backwaters would be our next destination. Then it will be a long way before we touch Pollachi via the thick forests around Shabarimala through Indira gandhi national park sighting beautiful 'wildlife. Its an hour's drive to the cotton city of coimbatore from Pollachi and then to the hills of Ooty. From Ooty we get down the hills via the short route towards masinagudi, madhumalai & bandipur forest resorts. From here we head towards the historical city of Mysore. The next destination will be our home town & cosmopalitan city of Bangalore. Further we intend to get into cruise mode for another 500 kms to touch Hyderabad via ananthpur and karnool. From here we drive towards the historical cities of Gulbarga & Bijapur via Humnabad. We next hit Kolhapur and satara before we reach Pune. With all our memories we head back to Mumbai to complete the CEDIA MANIA LOOP

Our Travelogue

Mostly our trips have been unplanned to such an extent that we hit the road and then decide on our destination. The mile stone reads 0 (zero) and from there does our journey of exploration start. Wherever we have travelled, we usually enjoy the taste of the local cuisine. We try to probe for less exploited places away from the usual tourism spots Its rather interesting to peep into narrow lanes and streets, bargain like crazy, pick up interesting stuffs. We have done road trips to a variety of places, which include historic places like Mysore, Belur, Halebid, kasargod, chitradurga, gulbarga to the ancient temples of Madurai, Thiruvannamalai, Palani, Shabarimala, Tirupathi to wildlife sancturies such as Bandipur, madhumalai, perembikulam, Thittimathi, wayanad to the hills stations like Ooty, kodai, yercaud, munnar, tekadi to the backwaters of kerala to the thick jungles of the western ghats to the hustling cities such as pune, mumbai, coimbatore, hyderabad, chennai, trivandrum, kochi, belgaum, hubli to the beaches of Goa, mangalore, malpe, gokarna, mumbai, surathkal and numerous trekking spots like sangam, kukke, agumbe, nandi hills and many more.

Hi there, i met Vishal during my visit to Bangalore, and i was able to spend a weeked with him and his friends, during that time i was also able to attend to a race on Chikmanglur, that was crazy! the day before race was a rainy day and the circuit was completely full of mudd! i took almost 300pics of that day! not only the circuit or the race was awsome, but the route from BLR to Chik was also excellent turns everywhere!! if you was not there you missed three cars running on our way back home!... i will never forget those times! unfortunately in my country (Uruguay 14700km away from India) we have left driving cars, so it will be difficult to vish for driving here! but hope he has a chance too! see u! seba from MVD - UY

what to say about this mischievous jodi.One fantastic guy and one amazing girl.Truly a very happening couple.Been in love for years and happily married now.Adventure seeking,mischief making and having a blast is always their mantra. Vishal-A notoriously fast driver on the national rally circuit. Anushka-Dee's a wonder woman who is a completely cheerful and very very jolly person. Have learnt a lot from these two and their tales and adventures though me being a completely new person bugging them since some 16 months.They love challenges and making friends.They know how to care for their friends too.They always keep in touch with friends no matter how far they live or how old the friend is.
