Suresh and I love to take up anything that means fun and adventure, though we would stop short of bungee jumping or canoeing in a shark infested ocean! We have 2 lovely sons who share the same ethos. We have spent every dime of our savings on travel and have done so even when our children were just toddlers. We work from chennai and spend a lot of time meeting friends, new friends, reading, yoga, music and movies. We wish for a clean green India. And try to take this message by practicing it in our own lives as much as possible. Didn't someone say "Cleanliness is next to Godliness"! A clean India would mean a prosperous India. The first of the Yama and Niyamas from our own Patanjali's Yoga sutras have listed "Sauca" right on the top? Every little bit we can do to this effect will make a "BIG" difference, is obvious? So let's NOT litter when we drive around:)

We are the best candidates because...

Why would we make the best candidates? Because we have the inner need to relate to the environment, understand, assimilate its lessons. We will always be sensitive to the needs and ethos of the people we meet, the flora and the fauna. Its so important to not only be safe when traveling, but also ensure others' safety. We are known for our alertness and thinking abilities on our feet. One needs quick reaction times and experience of having driven in different terrains and locales. I think doing this for the past 25 years does make us very experienced candidates along with the creativity needed for such a drive.

We have a great plan to drive around India and enjoy the beautiful blues of the ocean and all its myriad shades and moods.

Our Travelogue

Where do we start? With the sand dunes of Fraser Island off the Queensland coast, the treacherous but awesomely beautiful landscapes of the himalayas, the fascinating blues of the pacific ocean along the Australian coastline, the earthy Blue mountains of Sydney's inner west, the spiritual Red center of the Great Australian Desert. the moonscapes of Mt. Wellington in Tasmania, the grandeur of our mountains and temples and palaces, the romance of Paris, vastness of the US and Canada, the stunning Swiss and Austrian Alps? Or with the most wonderful memories of all our many journeys, the love, the enlightenment, the anguish or sheer jaw dropping adventure? We don't regret a single moment and are so thankful that we could give this to our children and ourselves. What a great idea to be able to do this for free and get back invaluable topping up on our past experiences. One more memory, one more delight, but the only opportunity to have our friends be part of it or responsible for it!!!!! with their kind votes and testimonials Check out flickr photo and video. An odd choice you'd think? We took this on our crazy drive from Leh to Kashmir! Its a picture of the murky waters of the mighty Indus and the Zanskar rivers at their confluence. Suresh drove me 30 km and back across Sydney Australia in evening rush hour traffic in an emergency dash to collect helium balloons for our daughter Stephanie's 18th birthday. Not only did we get there in time to collect but Sydney's worst Ned Kelly bushranger drivers were no match for Suresh's Indian driving skills honed in Chennai and across India up to the Himalayas. Worst damage was from my footmarks on the windscreen attempting to hit emergency breaks - not a scratch on Suresh's car or anywhere else! Man of Steel - agent 008 - perhaps the car was rigged by "Q" to safely pull off those "feets" of driving? No, it was Safety Suresh, the Slickest Stick-shifter in Sydney and the Subcontinent ...

Gomathi has faithfully picked me up at 5:30 am every morning Monday to Friday and driven us 20 km to our early morning Bikram Yoga. She is up for every challenge and her reliability has kept me on course for achieving multiple yoga challenges - 50 classes in 60 days ... she has been an excellent driving companion and I have not had to worry about the driving at all - only all the things we have been talking about. An excellent companion and brilliant driver who I miss very much around Sydney now she's back in Chennai

Gomathi and Suresh along with my family have embarked on a number of adventures in Australia including the beautiful Frazer Island which is a sand island and more than proved their ability to drive difficult terrain, they love nature and the great outdoors life and would be a great choice as a winner and advocate of Misubishi vehicles as they have had a Pajero 4WD in Australia
