Total Vote(s) : 69 | Total Testimonial(s) : 20

We are Yogi (Yogaditya) and Mansi (Manoshi) from Delhi/Ghaziabad. I (Mansi) am an editor for a magazine and a writer (of novels and academic books) and my husband is a fitness trainer, nutrition consultant, bodybuilder (awarded 4th in his weight category in Mr. India Bodybuilding 2008-09 held at Thrissur, Kerala), and writer. I also run my own company, www.contentwritingonline.com. I was in the office when my husband called me up and asked me to browse through greatdrivingchallenge.com. We are both adventurous, fun-loving and love to travel; and the very innovative ideas displayed in words of a challenging activity just prompted me to fill up the details and proceed forward....and this is how it all happened...and I am, step by step, meandering through the wealth of words to participate!

We are the best candidates because...

We love travelling and adventure in the true sense of the term. Amid the hectic schedule, we anyhow take out time to zoom out to a new location every time. Every month or once in every one and a half month, we land up in a new destination with our own car (hyundai accent or maruti alto). Boredom during the journey never gets a chance to creep in, as the wealth of words and experiences are full in our treasury - our minds and hearts!! We keep blabbering on contemporary issues, on music, and related paraphernalia at the same time recalling our childhood memories, our teenhood encounters and personal experiences till date. At the same time our eyes never stop to savor the delight of the world outside our car, be it cows grazing on the scanty grass on the roadside, people going to and fro, differing expressions in equally differing faces, toiling workers in fields, industrial plants prominent with smokes emitted out of their chimneys, picturesque landscape, barren lands and what not. We delight in them all.

Our Travel Plan

We intend to travel from one corner of India, starting from the north east (Arunachal Pradesh) to the South (Kanyakumari). The landscape from this corner of the country to the other corner is a feast for the eyes. Whether it is greeny mountains with narrow roads in twists and curves (Arunachal Pradesh) or plain land with tea gardens on either sides (Assam), or the watery and scenic mountains (West Bengal), or a mixmatch of barren lands, dry mountains and beautiful cities (Bihar, Madhya Pradesh, Uttar Pradesh), or the national capital housing monuments and forts (Delhi), or mesmerising landscapes (Maharashtra), or enchanting backwaters and beaches (Kerala) or innumerable beaches (further South ending at Kanyakumari), there are reasons to visit them. Like every other trip, every encounter with Nature will be soothing to the eyes, rejuvenating to the mind, and add a new zest to life.

Our Travelogue

We have travelled to almost all the parts of India where forts, monuments, beaches, and natural beauty in mountains are bounteous; worth mentioning are: Maideo (Arunachal Pradesh), Manali, Nainital, Mussoorie, Dehradun, Udaipur, Alwar, Sariska Tiger Resort, Jaipur, Nashik, Shirdi, Bangalore, Kolkata, Mumbai, Thrissur (delighted in the backwaters and sea beaches located few kms away), Pondicherry, Salem...and more.

Good people deserve Better things in Life and she is among those few good people i have seen around....Moreover,the trick to Great Driving is by mixing carefull and sincere driving capabilities maintainig the speed, and she does have it in full...So,i believe she has the ability to outnumber all the rest and be the winner...

Vicky

She is a big time adventurous lady....Loves riding bikes(bullet)and her Bajaj Kawasaki....like nething...I wish her and Yogaditya best wishes....

somu

those who have a passion for driving know no barriers n boundaries...they just see the road ahead and feel the speed...this couple is one of those...so they should win...

sumedha

Challenges are gifts that force us to search for a new center of gravity." They don't fight them... They just find a different way to stand. mansi-she is just contrary to wot u think about.., she is vivid, expert and judicious..! riding bikes and driving cars has always been a hardcore passion for her..!Yogi (yogaditya) is an outstanding example of a person with a great heart and a wonderful mind..he's equally passionate about cars and frenzy about bikes and gadgets.. they are always jazzed for facing new challenges, seizing new opportunities, testing their resources against the unknown and in the process, discovering their own unique potential...God bless u always..!!

sunit

A lot of people have the notion that driving is an easy task, but ask this couple how tough it is...but they have made it look easy for others, that's why they have this notion..so,in my opinion they should win this...

anamika

pradeep

the most great and adventourous couple i hav ever seen in my life. driving n riding are their passions. if they get the option for gold and driving, i m sure that they will choose driving. all the best to both of you

manobi

I guess what I'm trying to say is, I don't think one can measure life in terms of years. I think longevity doesn't necessarily have anything to do with happiness. I mean happiness comes from facing challenges and going out on a limb and taking risks. If you're not willing to take a risk for something you r really passionate about, you might as well be dead..!!mansi & yogi are among those who take challenges for fun & to make life interesting; overcoming them is what makes their life meaningful..!they r fun loving, adventurous, daring and stouthearted..!they always struggle of desire towards adventures whose nobility fertilize their souls... u r surely gonna win ..!!

Mayuri

What to say abt this couple....They are indeed the most happiest couple I wud say... Their likings and choices are more or less almost same....As of travelling yah...they had almost completed India....luking forward to move beyond the same.... Evry weekend they use to be out of station to explore more places....haha...I guess they will explore some new adventuturous and fun loving places....soon....hehe Newez, I bet you will win this challenge and win more....Best wishes...

Abhi

To be true, I dint met this couple yet...But it seems I meet them daily....I had heard a lot and the hearings never stop in my ears....Tat this couple is really very hard working, energetic, bold, fortunate, magnanimous, demoniac, active....and....and...words will never finish....Mera kaan kabhi tired nehi hota inke baare me sunke...par haa me jarur thak jata hu...lol...mansi (Ladki) bike chalake nehi thakti...hum thak jaate hai...ab thank god wo car chalati hai....Aur Kamal ke Jijaji....Body builder and fitness trainer....inke bhi wahi adat bike aur car chalake longggggggggggggggggg drive me nikalna....Agar aap Yogi(Jij) ko 10 baar Gaziabad se Delhi up and down karne ke liye bolenge...ye khusi khusi 10 kya 20 baar ayenge bhi aur jayenge bhi.... Maje hai inke.... Kuch jyada hi bol gaya....I wish them all the best...Aur aap dono jarur jitenge.....ye aapna KAAN ka biswas hai....

Rajesh

Wishing u all the best........CHEERS!!!

ram

"Let me tell you something you already know. The world ain't all sunshine and rainbows. It's a very mean and nasty place and I don't care how tough you are it will beat you to your knees and keep you there permanently if you let it. You, me, or nobody is gonna hit as hard as life. But it ain't about how hard ya hit. It's about how hard you can get it and keep moving forward. How much you can take and keep moving forward. That's how winning is done..." as a reply i was remunerated with such sugarcoats[something which is more than words] when i asked them about "winning"...m sure they are gonna rock this event ..!!

Manjula

'I have known manoshi (mansi) and yogi for several years...they pair together well...they are real travel freaks...traveling is in their veins!
