We are the best candidates because...

Travelling is a passion and we've had the opportunity to visit at least 5 continents. When we travel, it is not just to see the sights but also to get a feel of and experience local lifestyles, food and culture. I am an avid photographer and love to photograph goan sunsets, nature and fun times. This will definitely make our blogs and reports very interesting.

Our Travel Plan

We would like to start at Mumbai drive down to Kanyakumari. Our route there would take us via the mumbai pune expressway, the pune bangalore highway and the amboli ghats to Goa, From there south to mangalore and further down the entire coastal stretch of Kerela. On the way back we would take the mountain road climbing to 7000 ft to Kodaikanl and back down to Bangalore via Dindigul and Salem. From Bangalore back to Pune on NH4 and finally the expressway once again to Mumbai.

Our Travelogue

We've had an amazing range of travelling experiences including - a road trip from Delhi to Kedarnath via Haridwar and Rishikesh and then on to Auli for a bit of sking. The return was via Ranikhet and Nanital. Scuba diving at Tioman Islands in Malaysia, considered to be amongst the 10 most beautiful islands in the world, Self drive game safari's in Kenya including Naru Moru at the foothills of Mount Kenya, to see the flamingos at Nakuru and to a private game park at Naivasha. Still in Kenya, we've driven from Nairobi to Mombassa to spend a long weekend at the beach all this while I was 5 months pregnant. We've visited South Australia iand driven to the Yarra valley for wine tasting and also drove from Brisbane to the Gold Coast and back. On the same trip we also visited New Zealand and did a road trip to Rotoruo from Auckland. In Europe, we visited Spain, France Italy and the UK....In North America, New York where we caught some great jazz and blues at the clubs in the Village in New York and then on to Canada to visit the Niagra Falls and go cherry picking on the way. Closer to home, we've done countless trips to Goa where we have a second home and are regular visitors to Kodaikanal where our son studies in boarding school. Short weekend trips are often to our friends place at Pawna / Thakursia near Pune. My husband and partner has also travelled to exotic destinations without me including China, Tunisia, Bangladesh ....not fair.

A picture they say is worth a thousand words. I believe personal experience also holds more weight than hearsay. Enter Darryl Netto, the man of many talents, which we shall restrict to his driving skills. I've known Darryl for many years. He's driven me in his Skoda through foggy nights in Goa without me having to press imaginary brakes. He's driven me in his BMW through the fast moving madness of Dubai's streets. We've also driven through treacherous deserts over sand dunes and sand pits and nerve wracking gravel mountain trails. Hey Darryl I didn't realise until now that I survived all this! But seriously, if there's one person I would vote for unhesitatingly, it has to be Darryl (no swollen heads now please).
