While some folks would’ve backed out of one of the challenges thinkin its too much to handle, u guys have dared to plunge into both TGDC and Raid de Himalaya (correct me if i’m wrong - isn’t that what mentioned as Himalayan Rally?) If we’ve made it this far, I think it is only because of the quality of our content to this point. We’re not the best photographers, not the best celebrities, nor the best socialists…but you’ve now given us the responsibility to take our online campaign further! We promise tons and tons of fun to everybody at every stage, but that’s a matter for tomorrow.
@sushant: Don’t be too hard on yourself or on Mitsubishi. Please take a step back and look at the positives that this contest has given. I know you’ll think its easy for me to say, but honestly even if we weren’t in the Top 12, we would have been one of the most active followers of the contest. I am the mother of one of the contestants who made it to the 12. I’ve seen the passion and enthusiasm in all of you, I’ve seen you all slugging it out online and I’ve been witness to the brickbats and the bouquets. It’s been fascinating and as so many have already expressed, our life in the past few days have been filled with excitement, and for this we owe it to Sandip and Co, who burned the midnight oil (literally) just to make this fun for us. I’ve enjoyed this journey from the sidelines and am of course rooting for my daughter and her partner, but I’m also sending out oodles of good vibes and warm wishes to all the others who are going to be running the last lap here onwards. What heartens me is that after the bitterness and heartbreak that was pouring out into these pages over the last two days, there is now so much warmth. WE ARE THE WORLD aren’t we?
