I am a blogger, a photographer and also lead a community of bloggers in Delhi. I am also fond of driving and have taken part in a women’s car rally this year, so this contest was quite an interesting opportunity (which I tweeted about even before your own marketing started fully ). But, I am not participating (since I dont have a good enough male partner who can also get leave to join me for 12 days if it comes to that) and you guys dont allow same sex partners! :( I wish you would change those terms and conditions. there is still time . cheers

Though the photos are good. Guys…this is some favourism…not fair. are you on lookout for a photographers for photo shoot? Which media, creative or digital agency are they from? You are definitel not setting right examples here. I hope Mitsubishi is noticing this.

I’ve been a fan of Radhika’s photography (more at http://www.radhikaraj.com) for a long while now. She is a professional freelance photographer and her flickrstream is nothing short of breathtaking. Having said that, there are a lot of great photographers in this contest already. Some of them are: Zishaan Hayath - https://greatdrivingchallenge.com/application/zishaan/ Of course the level of professionalism and sheer panache varies widely but as enthusiasts they offer a good range of skills. But as others have pointed out, I am not too convinced about this post. Am not taking anything away from the candidates or the quality of their app (I love it) but yes, as a general interest blog of GDC, I can see why others would feel short-changed by such a post. Cheers!

Joseph, Much appreciated. Thanks to your post, we now can share 5 more excellent photo-streams. I am sure there are more jewels hidden inside - not just in the pictures, but also in the blogs and the route plans. Browsing through hundreds of applications, we are touched by the passion and now recognize the power of the collective dream. At this point of time, we have featured just a few hundred from the thousands of applications entered already on our database. Please be assured, that at the end, a professional jury will ultimately be responsible for selecting the chosen few - and they will follow strictly defined processes and a code of conduct. Cheers.

Let us look at this thing positively guys…I am not saying the thought of favortism did not come to my mind…but then look at the pictures and the caption…the heart does melt looking at these stunning images…the ultimate decision of who is going to be selected for the contest is finally the jury’s responsibility and I am sure they are going to be impartial…but meanwhile we can appreciate someone’s talent….

Thanks so much everyone for appreciating our images. It really feels good. I also agree with Atula and Sandip that the jury will take into consideration every aspect and most other people have either votes( oh those sweet votes that we lack!! But I do have lazy friends ) /testimonials/blogs etc in their favor so I know that everything will even out eventually… Joseph- Thanks for getting everyone’s images to our attention and though its been only a couple months since I put my website up - nice to hear you’ve seen it before GDC Best of luck everyone….and thanks to GDC I’ve met really nice people!!
