Spotted on eCHO in the vOID

I heard about you from a friend
and ignored it for once…
‘oh! just another challenge…
…doesn’t really make any sense’
but, inquisitive soul that I am
I ‘explored’ your face…
...the very first glimpse of you
made me say…
“Wish you are mine…Cedia
If not forever, at least for the moment”

Uploaded my profile…as if sending you a marriage proposal
Sorted my flickr…as if trying to lure you with my looks
Started blogging…as if writing love letters to you
Uplifted my facebook (not wid botox)…as if trying to show off my social status
Tweeted my thoughts…as if tryng to put my feelings across
“Wish you are mine…Cedia
If not forever, atleast for the moment”

But then,
came thousands like me…all tryng to impress you…
anybdy would fall for - swaggering you
I felt jealous…got threatened…u got to be mine – I sighed!!
and just to woo you I gathered all my might
with votes ticking…friends supporting
am getting closer to my dream…and that’s u Cedia

My heart thumping like an engine
Sleep swooshed off the rear view mirror
Nervousness sweating my grip
and thoughts running on top gear
Dream colored with your paint

I wish i’m the chosen one…
…for this big dream run
Will show you places… you have been dreaming
Will have experiences…you have been seeking
Will paint pictures…more than intriguing

Around you the web world spins
caught in cross hairs of every media
everyone lined up like a prince
waiting to be garlanded by the diva
just one thing hovering in all minds
who will be the top three finds…

But then …am thinking…

As the D-Day comes to an end, getting shortlisted on Votes basis in Great Driving Challenge seems like distant dream & feels as if chasing the distant rainbow as we see some profiles logging 1800+ votes! With our 250 odd votes we are on 8th Page & about 211 on the rank. However, we are still keeping our fingers crossed in the hope that we may get shortlisted basis our profiles n all the bloggings n postings we have done on our social network sites including Orcut, Linkedin, Facebook, Twitter, myspace, hi5 etc over past few days. The Campaign has been a brilliant piece of BTL activity by Hindustan Motors. I am sure it has generated a good amount of Top of Mind branding amongst its target audience for the Mitsubishi Cedia Sports. Kudos to Team Mitsubishi & Team TGDC & All the Best to all the Participants. One of us is sure to find the pot of Gold!

I was suggested by Amit & Jasleen to take part in this trip. But as Amit mentioned I also thought It was just another challenge…....I think having had a road trip with them earlier I should have known their enthusiasm when they get to something.
I’m sure with the passion Amit has written it he’ll sure own a cedia, and next trip guys i’ll grab the backseat I’m coming along.
And for sure challenges are not won by the fatser or stronger man, sooner or later the one who wins is the one who thinks he can. Believe in yourself, because we do, De, Duke & Nakul

I am sure like us many of you, today morning, would have logged into the Great Driving Challenge (GDC) site and also checked your page- just to check what the jury upto. Well understandable… many of us have done this for the past few weeks and days.

As we all wait to find out- who made to the first list ... why don’t we share our experience of growing through this unique competition. I am sure we will all learn a lot.

In the next 2 days I will go through the data posted on the GDC site and dig out interesting statistics. I am sure you will like it.

First Analysis

Dear all Aft

A total of 1060 couples registered to take part in the Great Driving Chanllenge- meaning for every 10 couple 1 will make the first list of 100 couples.

The most popular couple Mr Jogesh Vipinbhai Bavishi and Mrs Rupali Jogesh Bavishi collected a total of 2737 votes.

Of 1060 couples only 7 couples managed to get past 2000 votes and a total of 31 couples collected between 1000 to 2000 votes.

Mr Avijit Sen and Mrs Nidhi Sen had collected highest number of testimonials(148). A total of 8 couples got over 100 testimonials.

Also Mr Biju Nair and Ms Sreeja collected 282 votes inspite of registering in the last week of the completion.

There are 54 couple who never opened their score and 8 couples who had atleast 1 testimony but ZERO votes.

For the rest like me, who don’t figure in above statistics, keep you chin up – we all did our bit.

NOTE: The above statistics are have nothing to do with GDC inhouse assessment nor has any bearing on the results.

hey Man..
U seem to be an amazing combo of adventurous and poetic personality. it is really a nice poem.
I wished we could also express our feelings in such a beautiful way…but yr poem gives words to every contestant’s mixed emotions during the marathon of collecting votes.
