Finally all good things must come to an end.
As the TOP 3 contestants wind up their 10 day trip and find their way back to Mumbai, Team TGDC is getting ready to announce the winners and jam at one of the hippest night spots in Mumbai - the Blue Frog.

No event like this can be complete without the participation of fans. We are in the process of sending out the invites to all active fans (from the Mumbai region only) who have been intensely following TGDC on the website and on Facebook. This will be a great opportunity to meet-up and be ‘live’ at the venue when the winner announcement is made.

ENTRIES LIMITED - .available only on first come first served basis, till seats available

So please check you Inbox later tonight for the official invite and if you wish to attend, please confirm latest by tomorrow (Monday 17th) noon. We will send re-confirmation emails to those who respond on time, and also publish a guest-list to the club authorities. Once the guest list is finalized, Team TGDC will not be able to accept any new entries at gate. (Please ensure you have a re-confirmation email from Team TGDC)

We hope we can convince the management to organize TGDC parties for fans in other cities, at some time in the future.

This is really cool. Wish I was in Mumbai tomorrow to attend this TGDC party.

Anyways, will wait and hope for a TGDC party in Bangalore soon. Hope you are able to convince the management for it.

Hello Everyone,

I am sorry for staying away and missing out on the trail of the great driving challenge contest.

As I am sure everyone knows that my father-in-law wasn’t doing good and was in hospital since a long time, the sad news is that…

He left us on Aug 9th.

and that has what kept me far from you guys.

Jo and Namrata, I am really sorry, I joined your followers list late, bt then you guys know the reason. and anyways, my best wishes has always been with you and I hope you win the contest.

My first reaction was of disappointment as i am not in Mumbai. Wish we had a prior information. That is our bad luck influenced by Sandip !!

I am very happy for Imtiaz Bhai who can and should attend this closing ceremony and even ON MY behalf !!!

Don Aadil too can attend. Belgaum is closer. I am Don’s referee, Hope he won’t have a entry problem and more over he doesn’t like Frog flesh !!

Hope we will have a REAL TIME live Webcast !.....hope to get some poetic justice for all those Tech loop holes and deficiencies !!

Hi Sandip,

I am guessing that even the lucky winners for guessing top 3 and winner will be announced tomorrow only. Is that correct?

Since it is not going to be live, when you will be putting the names of the all the winners on this site?

And last but not the least, what happens to this website after the contest completes?

Would’ve loved to be a part of the celebrations in Mumbai. But then my in-laws are coming home. Can’t hop over to Mumbai even if I wanted to. Guess Imtiaz Bhai will represent both Dr. K S Anand and myself.

TGDC has been a wonderful experience so far. Sandip - you gotta do something to keep our spirit ignited post TGDC.

Why Imtiaz has to Attend this Blue Frog Ceremony ?
Imtiaz! Please don’t miss - The Blue Frog !!....You have to be there - for few reasons -
1. To enjoy the occassion.
2. To witness the Genuine Winner(I Hope so).
3. To counter-mingle with TGDC Team….
4. To give TGDC your spicy opinions. (No inhibitions here)
5. To capture those sweet/bitter memories after announcement of Results.
6. To spill some Venom on my behalf. (Not your Python way but my Cobra way)
7. To ensure that TGDC -2010 is on the cards.(remember our rule of Arithmetic)
8. To Console the 2 genuine Losers.(hopefully not whom we 2 are following)
9. To brain wash Sandip as he eats Pakora in public and Lobsters otherwise.
10. To Thank “behind the scene staff” - who may remain un-noticed !
11. To collect Fair play / Sportsmanship award if any for you !

Hey,
wishing all the three teams good luck, all have worked their bit & may the best one win.
I genuinely feel it should go to the most deserving team.
Would have loved to be there for the grand event but guess I’ll not be able to make it & hope Amit will makeup for my absence.
May it rock as TGDc always has,

@ Sandip : considering you are also going to miss it like me & many of our friends, pls ensure that there is a good coverage of the event.

@event…even I’ll again miss the live show….(credit goes to sandip and team ) ....I wish I could be in mumbai to be a part of this event…but as DR said could have been possible only if we had a prior information.
