The Jury has been finding it difficult to come to a consensus on the TOP 9 - they do have an internal shortlist (25 applicants) in place since early morning. The not so good news is that we don’t know when we will get the final 12 list on our hands. Lot of work tonight. Once there is consensus, I will send the ‘white smoke’ your way! hi Now this is strange? how did the word get on twitter before this blog or am i missing something? Dr Gaurav Chhabra I am so glad that the list has now been increased to 12 that i am not even looking at the bad news!!! They can pour over all the applications as long as they want!! TGDC I feel is the strongest religious organisation in the world, its turned more people to praying than any other could…....….keep up the good work, while we get back to praying :D… The decision to expand selection of teams to 12, has already been taken by the Jury. While the discussions were on, team were testing the creatives and the homepage switched momentarily, at which instant it was then picked up on twitter. I could not post on this blog, unless I received official confirmation from the Jury. It is now final -12 instead of 9. Maybe that will help build the much needed consensus. Let us respect Jury’s decision. This only reaffirms the fact that there are many more deserving participants than just nine. Look at the brighter side, top 3 or 4 already have followers in Jury!! You say the jury had the list of top 25 by morning. In that case I don’t understand why encompass would tell me on phone and on mail that the list is being made and people are being verified as and when they are added to the list. Could you now please tell us if the top 25 have all been physically verified, so that the rest of us who have not been physically verified can rest in peace, or is there any hope for us tomorrow? Had fun so far in the game, would love to go further and do the route we plan, but… Hi; I guess all for the best.. Most of the applicants i think deserve to be there, but there can be only 1 winner, so let 12 bathe in glory for some more time. All the very best to all the participants. To clarify a query from Amit & Ankita - The Jury has not reached a consensus. The physical verification is a parallel process, and they have to create backups for a situation where few selected couples may not be available for the driveoff for reasons behind their control (leave, health etc). The verification will continue tomorrow, to the best of my knowledge. I am not having any fun in doing this to you guys. - but understand the logistics nightmare behind this process, and please bear with us. Have a good night’s sleep. As said in my other post, the decision of jury to be “more inclusive” is a good gesture of fair play. It also hints on the tough time jury is actually facing.
