Back in the summer of 2007, a bunch of us passed out of B-school all excited to be starting off on the journey of “managerial” jobs! Before we headed down that one-way road, most of us took our own short breaks to discover the India we knew we would never get to see once we’re officially cubicle-ized. What follows is a walk through a memory lane set somewhere in the chilly northern region of India, with friends and the serene calm of a loong holiday for company.

Amit & I have had a spiel, contemplating the motto, name & content of this space. We’ve talked about, travel, drive & pictures.... roads, people, exotic locales, lifestyle ….PHEW! What on earth not. Something, that remained constant in the frame of reference with all these was a country. A nation which was also chosen by the promoters for their name (Hindustan Motors after all). Perhaps they knew well how vivid India is, in its temperament, culture, ethnicity & panorama. Almost like a kaleidoscope- a melting pot of cultures. No matter where a Cedia is parked here, its beauty will only be enhanced. We imaged it at all the places & yes we did conclude : "we have the Cedia & the backdrop, let’s paint the picture".

Till I read the activities/challenges they had in store for us in Mumbai :
