No Entry..when we went last time. ..Enter the Red Fort and do Visit a beautiful Temple at Dayalbagh and Sikandra ......Fatehpur sikri and Bharatpur Bird sanctuary is near by !!...also famous for marble works, leather works and Petha. Are you going to Mathura and Virindaban ?

Get us some shots of Taj Mahal!
There is a very big Gurudwara on Delhi-Agra highway before entering agra, if you happen to get a chance, you can visit there also.

boss,

i am personally following you (commenting from my personal email).. but seems you guys are disappointing me… too often but rarely some substance at EOD. my 2 cents below:-

while drivin u look back in the rear mirror… it’s trail of dust. takes time to settle. in life too u can connect d dots only wen u look back

every road… every damn road tells some story… the sign boards, the U turns, messages written on trucks & lorries

wen in motion things near to you move opposite your direction whereas things far to you move along ur direction… connect it to ur life, the race to move ahead, you lose your near and dear ones…

the car wiper wipes off rain droplets from the windshield & everything is visibly clean, correlate it to your memory…

do something now…!!

August 12

Dear Namrata and Joseph,

I write this, truly, with a heavy heart.

Earlier today, I read and enjoyed your account of your visit to the vintage car place in Guj (http://u.nu/6ugt).

Here are some lines from your second para there:

—-
The Vintage Village Autoworld houses the prolific collection of
vintage beauties owned by the reknowned Mr Pranlal Bhogilal. These are rare gems, including India’s first Maybach (1937 from Kota)! These are distributed between Kathwada, Mumbai where he resides and in Ahmedabad where he ownes a palatial home. The cars are all complete and decent to look at, but not really in the best of condition.
—-

Something sounded vaguely familiar about this, but I paid no attention then. Later, I found out why. I had read a two-year-old discussion about that same vintage car place on Team-BHP: http://u.nu/3vgt

Here’s a bit from the beginning of that 2007 discussion:

—-
The reknowned Mr Bhogilal has a prolific collection of vintage beauties, some of them rare gems. These are distributed betwen Kathwada, Mumbai where he resides and in Ahmedabad where he ownes a palatial home.

Virtually, all the the cars are complete but alas not all are in concours condition.
—-

“prolific collection of vintage beauties”, “reknowned Mr Bhogilal” (even the mis-spelling of “renowned”), “rare gems”. Then the second sentence is identical, even the mis-spelling of “ownes”.

Why would you steal these lines from the Team-BHP page?

You are fortunate enough to be travelling through and photographing some of this country’s most intriguing, fascinating spots. Some of your other posts have captured some of that fascination. Yet you still felt the need to plagiarize here.

How sad. How depressing.

How tragic that the pressure of having to post stuff for the contest led you to this.

yours,
dilip

===================================

@Dilip:

Dear Dilip D’Souza,

We acknowledge your comment and agree that the source of those two lines in the post on vintage cars were an old thread over on Team-BHP - I am an active member there as well.

We can’t help but thank you for your continued scrutiny and attention towards this blog of ours, without you we would not be pushing our standards or our attention to detail. It is guys like you that keep us going. So please keep the policing going, it’ll keep us awake - after all, 9 hours a day at the wheel does tire your senses…atleast a bit. smile
