Funny thing is .. i thought Cedia would be a fair contest.. but it seems,  sucking up is the only thing that mattered!

These days all such stuff is readily available at several electronic stores like Croma, eZone and others. Now that “Elvis has left the building” these stores may not be as easy to locate as “Behen” Mayawati statues all over U.P. Neverthless, you still have quite some stuff ready with you as in photo.

My collection is from all these stores and some of them from my overseas trips.

The photo of your stuff before the drive does show some connectors that will be very useful to you.

As a die hard traveler, I also keep a multipurpose survival tool, magnesium block (can even light dripping wet wood) and coated polyester sheet that protects from rain, reflects light and blocks air to pass through. But that is mostly for off-roading, camping or “on the edge” outdoor photography trips.

With cedia you may not require all these though. Specially with very limited off-roading on this trip. The highway is very good till Delhi at least. 4 lanes of bliss, speed, thrill and a floating cedia. Of course, Kamat Vithal, jai ho!

Yes, for long drives between cities where the FM bandwidth fades… a USB port does wonders.

Though my personal experience is that we (my wife and I) tend to converse better when we forget to switch on the FM or forget to plug-in the pen drive… and we are more observant of what is there outside the car.
