Our Travelogue

Our travels have taken us to many exciting destinations and on several adventures. Hashim is essentially a mountain person while I am more inclined towards beach spots and our India travels have been a happy mix of both types. We have been snorkeling and diving at Kadmat, Lakshadweep; snorkeling at Tarkarli off the Sindudurg fort; skiing at Auli, Uttranchal; sightseeing to Agra and Pachmari; on safari with our son at Ranthambore; trekking in and around Mumbai – Sagargadh, Mahuli, Matheran, Karjat..; to Mahabalipuram and the crocodile farm; on driving trips along the Konkan coast to places like Kihim, Alibaug, Janjira and Srivardhan; driving to South Goa – Palolem and onwards to Karwar; on long car trips to Rajasthan along the desert route NH 15 – Barmer, Jodhopur, Bikaner, Jaisalmer, Udaipur and Jaipur and have driven with our one year old from Mumbai to Auli, Uttranchal. International holidays have included honeymooning in Srilanka; sightseeing in and around Rome, Paris and the South of France – Hyeres and Axe en Provence; Las Vegas, New York, Boston, San Francisco and Atlanta. This is a gist of the journeys we have done together. There have been several destinations that we have done solo with a promise to get the other there soon enough. These include places like Ladak, Manali, Nepal, Bhutan and Los Angeles to name a few.
