Bombay - Narayangaon (radio telescope) - Jamkhed (D's brother worked at health project) - Bidar (bidri work) - Hyderabad (Golconda) - Khammam (man who studies flags) - Rajahmundry (family roots) - YANAM - Ongole - Cuddapah (famous stone) - Rishi Valley (Krishnamurti school that D attended) - Hampi (temples) - Dharwad (pedhas, plus the home of V's Saraswat heritage) - Ratnagiri (D's father was once posted here as Collector) - Bombay. And Y Yanam? Once-French enclave, of course! That's why we have our sights set there.
