Our Travel Plan

We intend to take this route. Mumbai - Ahmedabad - Udaipur - Jodhpur - Jaisalmer- Bikaner - Ajmer - Jaipur - Agra - Gwalior - Indore - Nashik - Mumbai. In this trip we wish to capture Rajasthan in all its myriad hues like the colourful folklore, the rustic desert, the resplendent Palaces,the grand Forts, the friendly villagers, and last but not the least the mouthwatering cuisine of this land.. We would cover an average of 350 kms per day sparing ample time to explore the place, rather than hurrying from point A to B..We are waiting to explore the jodhpur- jaisalmer stretch, especially the sand dunes.. We feel it is not appropriate to plan stay and day wise itinerary because this is a road trip , and one should be prepared for surprises. Anything might happen like a hartal, or rasta rokos, or some obstacles, for which we intend to take it one day , one destination at a time. Broadly we have the map decided, we would stick to it as closely as possible. 11 stops in 12 days is very much achievable. If at one stop there is unexpected delay, we would try and cover it in later stages. And yes we are ready with our backpacks.. Can't wait for this..
