Our Travelogue

Well, as a couple, there is not too much to mention here. Bala travels extensively on his field trips, and I have gotten around most cities in India - shopping, mostly, and then a couple of backpacking trips to Srinagar etc. We do get around town locally in Bangalore and places around here, but this is going to be our first real long roadtrip together. And that is also why we are so excited about this one. One thing cause that the both of us feel very strongly is about promotion of public and/or green modes of transport, especially in the cities. Bala commutes 15 kilometers one way to work on his bi-cycle, and I usually walk wherever I can. Wherever either one of us travel, we make it a point not to leave a rather large carbon footprint. :)
