Hi. We are Rohit and Rupali from Mumbai. Rupali (my wife) is a home-maker and a graduate in Psychology from Chandigarh. I am working as a market researcher in India’s leading market research agency, IMRB International. I used to consider myself an ace, yet safe, driver. When Rupali came along in my life, I found I was a novice. Having driven uphill several times towards Kasuali, Shimla, Ludhiana, Amritsar, New Delhi, etc., she has a good grounding of highway driving. I was impressed by her skills on the NH17 last year when we drove to Goa. I have picked up a lot just by observing her drive and of course from her constant criticism while I am behind the wheel. Both of us are passionate about traveling, especially by road.

We are the best candidates because...

As a couple, we have undertaken various extreme sports like deep sea diving, bungee jumping and para-sailing just so we can feel the adrenaline rush...forever on the lookout for that adrenaline rush. We share a yin and yang relationship of opposite extremes of the fun spectrum. One is extremely cautious and the other is cautiously extreme. Driven by the passion for driving, we find solace in the quiet of the car’s cabin with traffic rushing by. Forever ready to roll out for a drive. The wife carries a creative bent of mind with her eye for good photography while I am passionate about putting my travel experiences into words. Our Travelogue

There are 6 flower pots manning our balcony of our 7th floor apartment. The story behind the flower pots starts from a friend's place who we were visiting around 2 in the afternoon on a Saturday a few months back. When we left his place, we were sleepy and wanted to hit the sack. Those days, the audio of the movie Delhi 6 had released and we had our radio on in the car on our way back home. We were about 2-3 minutes away from our society's gate when the song ‘Masakkali’ started playing on the radio. We steered our way back to the main road just to listen to that song. We ended up on the road to Alibag and on our way, spotted a nursery from where we picked up the flower pots by 7 in the evening. Together we have done thousands of kilometers in and around Maharashtra and Goa including Igatpuri, Nasik, Ahmednagar, Aurangabad, Pune, Alibag, Ganapatipule, Karjat, Matheran, Baramati and Surat in Gujarat. There are only a handful of States in India which we have not visited. Would love to explore the North - East some day. Preferably by road. International destinations include Spain, Germany, Netherlands, Malaysia, Singapore and Indonesia.
