The Jury has wrapped up their proceedings and turned in the final 100 shortlist tonight. Team GDC will be announcing the same on-schedule on-site, on Monday.

Post the announcement, the shortlisted participants will get a verification call from our “on-ground organizers” and you will be asked to fax-in a set of documents. The Jury will move in to the next round of deliberations, post verification. Team GDC will keep you updated all the way through.

To make sure we can all take a ring-side view of the proceedings, Team GDC will blog the judging event live from the venue at Mumbai. So please stay tuned to the announcements over the next couple of days. There are going to be mega prizes for the audience on the web, as they decide to continue on tracking the journey of the semi-finalists, and then the finalists. You will get a chance to pick your favorite couples and cheer them along - cause if they win, as ‘team supporters’ you too will also get a chance to win big!

Lot of things are in the works, and we will share the details as soon as possible.

It has been exactly 2 weeks since we started this blog, and it has been an amazing experience listening and learning from you.

Well, the die is cast. Many of us will spend a sleepless night. The lucky 100 will make it and those who won’t will taste disappointment, but like they say, life goes on…At least the GDC made life a little exciting and gave us something to hope for. A thought comes to the mind though. We’ve been rivals thus far and some may continue to be so for some more time. But why can’t we all, bound as we are by the same passion for travel, form a group/ community and continue to be in touch through our blogs? TGDC has given us all a great platform and we could carry it forward. For starters, all applicants from Delhi & NCR could get together and organize trips, etc. What say?

I dont know what to say here, but i think we would miss the train. we kept on posting our links to social sites with no response at all, how can u call ur employees, friends known to ask for votes.. but still it didnt work out i guess. My math says that 30% of the total population has got good votes for more than 100 (assumption based on the scores i saw on whole 36 pages). but if the jury is looking at any other thing than votes and testimonials then i promise you, we are good spirits and we will reach there to be in the nature.

Wooohhooo….
2 weeks of inane concepts and advertisements comming up to get in our votes.. people started advising us to join political campaigns, coz of the sheer reason how we ate theri brains to get their votes… and now with 5 n a half hour left till the “decision”.....
keeping the fingers crossed…. better yet.. keeping em glued!

Ultimate 100 on the list!!!! Phew!! keeping fingers crossed….Excitement increasing every moment!!!!
Its like a daily soap….Dreaming, eating, sleeping, breathing only about GDC….

It is real great experience in my life till date…. lots learnt from this podium…..hats off to TGDC….

Even if we dont make it to top 100….our support will be all along the competation till the finish line…it will continue supporting the 3 finalists….

Thanks to TGDC, who provided us this opportunity.
It helped us to connect to old friends to establish the lost connectivity, It helped us to convert many of the colleagues into friends, It helped us to identify the good friends, who are there when you need them

Dear Hemanth, Need not to worry dude read this..
Result awaited for top 100… monday morninig, first time no one among participants feeling that monday mornings blue every 2 mnts checking GDC site… oh its still not there.
Ok lets place the real facts
Dont you think if you have selected a route you should go for it,
Dont you think GDC gave us a new direction, we were so engrossed with work all these days that we flock on the opportunity, but is it the only thing? Without this event we might not have realised how much we need these outing at regular intervals of time.
So everyone of us can be a winner in our own self.
Go for that dream route,
We should be thankful to GDC for such a wonderful break from normal life, we did twitty, put up facebook, did blogging… i mean lot of stuff (not to mention all ) which we might not have done earlier.
All the best fo all the beauitiful couples… esp those who joined late… be a winner… wish i cud have credited my votes to you guys
