Our Travelogue

We have traveled to Europe - for our honeymoon as well as business related. Recently we went to Switzerland and it was a great trip. It also marked the beginning of our globe trotting together. We covered Lucerne, Interlaken, Zermatt and Zurich. Our next plan in the pipeline line is for Slovenia - have heard that it is equally beautiful. In the past I have also traveled to the gulf countries on several ocassions for holidaying. This includes road travel from Muscat to Dubai to Sharjah to Abu Dhabi. The best time I recall is of the desert safari and night stay in the desert in Oman. It was great fun, In the UK I have been on an adventure trip to Scotland with youngsters which included fun activities like rappeling and hiking. The best part was climbing the top of a peak where the breeze was almost sweeping all of us from our feet. In England I have traveled to London, Bath, Stonehenge etc. Have also traveled to Wales for another adventure trip. Have covered the entire South India belt by road during my childhood. This includes places like Ooty, Kodaikanal, Thekri, Yercaud, Cochin, Thiruvanthapuram, Madurai, Kanaya kumari, Rameshwaram, Chennai - all on road ! In the North I have been to Himachal Pradesh, Uttranchal for religious tours with family. Also been to Rajasthan by road to places such as Jaipur, Jodhpur and Jaisalmer. Vidya loves chocolates so she was more than happy to travel to Belgium for work which was a blessing in disguise. She took the opportunity to have a look around beautiful places like Brussels, Antwerp and Mechelen. She also went on to see the Eiffel Tower in Paris and other places around France. In India Vidya has traveled to the south to places like Kanyakumari, Thekri, Munnar, Bangalore, Mysore, Mangalore, Coorg, Tirupati - all on road !
