Hey folks ! Rathin and Vidya here ... friends since last 5 years and forever. Oh yes.. forgot to tell you we recently got married ... a couple of months back and now trying to enjoy the so-called honeymoon period by traveling to various places. :) We are both IT professionals working with Infosys, Pune for about 5 years now. We met at the Mysore campus and have been together since. We both like to eat out, travel, make friends and party !!! We have also tried our hand at photography with Vidya attending a workshop on photography. So when we are driving down we will make sure to capture loads of pictures for you folks about our travel.

We are the best candidates because...

We are avid travelers having traveled to various parts of the globe and also in India. I love to drive and Vidya loves to accompany me. In fact our love happened on the wheels. When we used to travel between Mumbai and Pune over weekends. So that's one story that we like to share with all. I recollect I was just 10 when I first tried my hand at driving., not to mention I banged my dad's new fiat. :) However I moved on from then and have driven nearly everything from an Ambassador to a Lexus honing my driving skills. The best story about my driving is defeating a VW Passat with M800 on the expressway - true to my belief that its the driver who wins the race and not the car ! We have both learnt that life is too short to live and every moment needs to be enjoyed rather than saving the best perfume for tomorrow. With this in mind we are sure that our journey would be the most exciting and full of life not just on day1 but also on all days. As we have recently got married and have lots of energy and enthusiasm to make our journey enthralling and entertaining for all. So to say the least - WE ARE THE BEST !

Our Travel Plan

Well people say life is something that happens when you are busy planning it. So we better push the top gear and head to where our heart takes us rather than jotting down a boring map for you folks.

Our Travelogue

We have traveled to Europe - for our honeymoon as well as business related. Recently we went to Switzerland and it was a great trip. It also marked the beginning of our globe trotting together. We covered Lucerne, Interlaken, Zermatt and Zurich. Our next plan in the pipeline line is for Slovenia - have heard that it is equally beautiful. In the past I have also traveled to the gulf countries on several ocassions for holidaying. This includes road travel from Muscat to Dubai to Sharjah to Abu Dhabi. The best time I recall is of the desert safari and night stay in the desert in Oman. It was great fun, In the UK I have been on an adventure trip to Scotland with youngsters which included fun activities like rappeling and hiking. The best part was climbing the top of a peak where the breeze was almost sweeping all of us from our feet. In England I have traveled to London, Bath, Stonehenge etc. Have also traveled to Wales for another adventure trip. Have covered the entire South India belt by road during my childhood. This includes places like Ooty, Kodaikanal, Thekri, Yercaud, Cochin, Thiruvanthapuram, Madurai, Kanaya kumari, Rameshwaram, Chennai - all on road ! In the North I have been to Himachal Pradesh, Uttranchal for religious tours with family. Also been to Rajasthan by road to places such as Jaipur, Jodhpur and Jaisalmer. Vidya loves chocolates so she was more than happy to travel to Belgium for work which was a blessing in disguise. She took the opportunity to have a look around beautiful places like Brussels, Antwerp and Mechelen. She also went on to see the Eiffel Tower in Paris and other places around France. In India Vidya has traveled to the south to places like Kanyakumari, Thekri, Munnar, Bangalore, Mysore, Mangalore, Coorg, Tirupati - all on road !
