And there we started our crazy drive to virgin beaches of Goa, thirsty deserts of Rajasthan, impeccable beauty of Western Ghats, challenging heights of Himachal, popular pilgrim of Amarnath, pernicious rallies and here comes an opportunity to drive to your dream destinations competing with the best of the couples in none other than CEDIA!!!( Though Pajero is still my favorites of Mitsubishi..and maybe that changes after this challenge) Life moved on, but passionate explorer in me didn't leave a chance to enter the business world with alluring opportunities to find my own way, ” Japan Life” not captivating enough of me left a void to be later filled with my enterpreneur debut..This venture turned out to be a roller-coaster experience condign for my craving for driving. Shivali,my wife, has been inspiration to capitalize my qualities to the fullest. She is examplary to the the ones who believe "live each day like its your last" and give their best...Her love for Nature has made us capture Gods’ embellishments in our life treasure of photography..As excited about driving sports as about social servicing, she has been an incredible companion in all my thrills of driving rallies...And our 4 years daughter won’t leave a chance to be with us on our experimental tours and is not at all fearful abt the rallies whom she relishes as much as her chocolate ice-creams!!!

We originally belong to the “Scotland of India”…the land of coffee…spice & adventure – COORG!! The word Coorg or Kodagu, by itself means 'dense forest on steep hills'. It was in adventure that we met and succeeded in knowing each other, we are now discovering life together! Married for over a year now, we…like all great travelers, have seen more than we remember, and remember more than we’ve seen. Cars, driving and travel, are common words found in both our hobby lists. I also indulge in cars body & engine modifications & also design the body of cars for my friends. Our driving diary includes places like Kodaikanal, Pondicherry, Ooty, Bandipur, Waynad, Munnar, Mangalore, Goa & ofcourse not to forget Coorg which we do atleast once a month. We’ve driven a series of cars ranging from a Mahindra MM540 amidst the jungle roads (which is one of my best inherited properties), to a Maruti Baleno & Santro- to beat the Bangalore traffic. Photography, movies and partying justify the city-side of our lives. We’ve known each other for close to a decade now…. But feels like a short stint, its probably because we’ve lived these years as a splendid adventure, bravely and gallantly. All geared up to face many a danger, to meet many a joy, to find many a comrade, to win and lose many a battle!!!

Hi ...to all travel lovers, bloggers, photographers and a few fun-scouting amateurs (..like us:)). The profile you are gazing at as of now, belongs to Anchal ('Sunny') and Aayushi. While Sunny manages his self-owned business, I work as a merchandiser in a Fashion House. The journey of our relationship itself started with an eventful journey when a guy spotted a damsel in distress standing in a corner all by herself without a seat in a train (thats me..of course) and decides to play the good guy by offering his own seat to that girl. That was some two years back and we have never looked back since (except when at times we travel down memory lane and laugh uncontrollably remembering how he displayed his "best-est" manners and how I posed as a fragile, innocent girl..). From that day till today we've been great buddies and know each other inside out..( Now I know how naughty he can be if he comes to it and he knows that the image of me being an innocent, helpless girl was a miaconception and entirely opposite to my actual tom-boyish nature). Sunny and Aayushi, as all our friends say, are exact opposites of each other.. While he has an intense passion for driving (and he is an immaculately perfect driver too...although I don't admit as much in front of him...), I am the laid back kind who prefers to nestle down and spread out on the front seat and enjoy the drive while enjoying the local scenery. Sunny's Opel Astra Club is his best buddy (...comes even before me!!) and now mine too as we are consistently scrounging out for new, less-explored territories and yet love to visit the famous travel destinations as well. Both of us share a penchant for hilly regions though and escape to close-by hill stations at the tiniest available opportunity...

I have owned, fixed and driven many vehicles from bikes-cars-trucks-jeeps. Everytime I’m on my Wheels it becomes a part of my body and then, I don’t drive the beast but, I propel it to burn up the road ;) Although I earn my breads from the diamond industry, to keep my passion for cars alive my friend and I have initiated a one stop shop – evolution garage in Surat and we call it VOGUE WHEELS. The word car means a lot to me - it being a chunk of me - is always on my mind. Had there been a proper guidance and support in my teenage I would have by now for sure taken a leap to F1. The love for speed and automobiles runs in the genome of our family, right from my grandfather, my father and not to mention my younger brother, Shaishav who has been nurturing our dream venture (Vogue Wheels). I love racing with him but, loosing is a delight. I'm taking up this challenge to be able to further develop Vogue Wheels with the winning amount - and to leverage his affection for automobiles. My wife, a southpaw has a benevolent persona. Although she is the arty kinds she has proven it to me that some women are as passionate about cars as men. She is an accessory designer by qualification and presently serves one of the top notch diamond group as their brand manager. She has involved herself in a lot of other fields apart from design. Her love for hand skill has been recently taken a step forward with Flutterby, a joint venture with her close creative friends – that they like to describe as a “creativity stimulation centre for children”. She is a trained mountaineer and there dwells a valiant soul in her. There are times when I hand over my car keys to her without being apprehensive because, surprisingly she has the potential to steer the wheels like a man. My brother and she have played a very important role in keeping the racer in me alive. We are known as opportunists who understand and confide on our potentials. The sources of our strength and confidence are limited and we have grown and developed within those limitations. We strongly believe that 'Changes provide opportunities' and so for a change we look forward to winning many hearts with a win over this challenge.

Yep, she's definitely the cutest geek I know :-) Vani on Norbert: The first time I saw him, I thought "Attractive, Funny, Smart and musician..Is he Mr. Right?"- Little did I know that he was Mr. Always Right. BTech & MTech from IIT Kanpur in Math & Computing (NERD!!), He's an investor on weekdays and a rocker on weekends. He owns more guitars than I hairpins.His personality is a great mix of his Mangalorean roots, West Asia upbringing, SE Asia politeness and Kanpur-iya lingo. Just another married couple as many would say, we are Vipin and Vidushi. We do agree and differ to the opening statement because at times we are just another couple and at others we transform to special ones. I work as a Technical Leader in a Telecom Software firm in Gurgaon and Vidushi is a lecturer. Its been more than a year since we are together and have had experiences to enrich our lives. Ever since we have come together we have taken up travelling as a ritual. We made it a point to drive out of the city each month, at least for a couple of days. I love driving and she loes being driven and clicking pictures of random and not so random things. I am fond of handling my DSCH-2 which was my first camera. Still have to graduate to a DSLR though. I try to be original in thought most of the time and thus create new experiences. After we met I realized that she is the one who would be ahppiest if she keeps on visiting new places and I would be happiest just driving out on highways or random roads. We are quite unlike each other… She’ll sniff life out of a fly that falls into her tea cup… (In her terminology it’s called savings)…I simply purchase thirty-six new cups. She can make anything look beautiful with her creativity, I cannot think beyond duh *&^?!! …she finds it easier to look for clothes when they are everywhere except in the cupboard; my kerchiefs have two neat folds - 6cm*6cm...And you’ll find them in the second drawer from the right….she is a hummingbird, I am better known as an undertaker. I relentlessly pursued this “chirpie birdie” “firebrand” from the time we met at the SSB interviews in 2000 and in a single brush of masterstroke, got her to marry me in ’04 (Yes, that SINGLE stroke took four years)…its my greatest achievement…I outperformed myself. During our stint in the army, amrita broke loose…and bones, while she Para-glided. She also mixed spirituality with adventure while rafting and drinking the holy waters of the river Ganga, at Rishikesh… I slept over a desert safari, rode my bike across states, went trekking, etc..etc (yawwwn…the usual stuff)…. She is now with an IT company…as the (Dreaded) HR Manager & I while away my time as a supply chain manager with a retail company…(thank you Asif!!) We have a sixteen month old daughter, Anahita, who cannot frame complete sentences… but try getting her out of the car at your own risk. What is intriguing to us is that as difficult as it is to fathom, it is just amazing to see how people with so many different beliefs and backgrounds live in perfect symphony with each other, and how nature just makes a place for each one of us in its colossal horizon. Life is short, and we know what we don’t have unlimited time with us. And for that reason, we want to make sure that every penny of our time is worth spent. And we really couldn’t think of a better way of spending it other than on travel, and in the process receiving plenty-folds. The experiences, the learning and the knowledge we can gain by travelling is more than any million dollar bill! To be able to share our existence with Mother Nature, to see it in its many avatars and to be one with it....ah, life couldn’t be more beautiful!! And with all its diversity and colourfulness, we possibly couldn’t find a better country than India, to satiate our need to understand (and pass on the knowledge) the different cultures, people and how nature fits it all together. This absolute need of ours to discover India in all its gloriousness, creating and sharing with the world, our most treasured lifelong moments along the way is what makes us the best candidates for this competition. We live in a wonderful world that is full of beauty, charm and adventure. There is no end to the adventures we can have if only we seek them.... ....our bags are packed!

If you are looking for a combo of crazy travelers, passionate photographers and rhetorical bloggers, your search ends here. Coz we are the uber cool couple (though we don't consider ourselves as two separate beings) of Kosha & Ritesh, who are, apart from being crazy about almost every other thing, are totally mad about each other. Both of us being scorpions, we share so so so many things between us. These sweet little coincidences played a huge role of catalyst to spark the passion between us after we met at a common friend's wedding (paving way to another wedding :D). Married for a little over one year, we have still been finding new things and thoughts that are common to both of us. So now here we are, the couple, who has lots of dreams and lots of wishes to be fulfilled, but all of them together. We are the super curious people for everything, be it knowledge, travel, food (yummy...), gadgets, music, etal. We believe in living the life to the fullest and glean small small magical moments from time to create a timeless scrapbook of happiness and love. Photography is in the veins of Kosha. What started as a small fad around two n half years back, has grown into a full-time passion for her. We have grown used to the usual question of "what is she doing in IT industry?". We both together have been to a lot of places, which she happily calls "shoots", just for taking pictures. Even to the extent of going to graveyards at midnight, and being chased by dogs and guards, to making weird stories to explain our presence at wee hours, to sneaking past the guards room! Ritesh has always stood beside Kosha and has actively participated in her passions. Ritesh is all into cars and driving. According to Ritesh, he feels refreshed rather than tired after a long long (as long as even 500 Kms in a day) drive. What travel means to us is to explore new domains and imbue new culture, cuisines and be enriched. As is rightly said, nothing can teach you as much as traveling. We plan to retire soon and become full-time travelers :D. Infact, our dream job would be to publish a travel magazine. And you never know, probably few years down the line, you may actually be reading a travel magazine from the publishing house of Kosha & Ritesh. We see this challenge as a signaling point for us to embark on a journey, which will satiate as well as create more thirst for traveling not just around India but across the globe.
