Oh, that’s a big list, literally, as we have been traveling from our college times…and same passion continues even now…to go in little detail, my father used to work as a bank officer and as a standard rule, every 2nd / 3rd year we had to relocate due to transfer. So moving places was a little natural act. We are very choosy about our travel plan & places as we don’t enjoy being in the crowd & so we don’t find any point in going to a very popular crowded picnic spot, instead we prefer to walk on un-unbeaten path. We prefer to go for home-stay so that we can experience the true taste of the land. Generally we choose a place like Virgin Island, unseen forest part or an un-conquered mountain, but it’s not always possible, but in future we have a deep desire & wish to attempt Mt.Everest. Our one more un-fulfilled dream is to tour whole of India on a bike or car. It really amuses to have a salty tea in Leh, we love have ‘uttu' in Kerala, (ever had a ‘dosa’ with a boiled banana ?) we enjoy ‘appam’ in Chennai, spicy Andhra rice meals in AP, ‘daal-baati’ in Rajasthan, ‘Malai Lassi’ in Punjab, alloo ka parotha in Haryana, and an awesome ‘paav-bhaaji’& ‘vada-pav’in ‘amchi Mumbai’ need not to say about our own jowar roti with green salad. It’s getting little difficult to get reminded all these tasty food. So I’ll stop food matter. We have traveled mostly on bike & car, that includes a bike trip to Ladakh, whole of South India. Bangalore to Mumbai, Bangalore to Hyderabad, etc., Even though we prefer bike over car, for its sheer open air experience, from past 7 years, we are also using cars for long routes. However, any mode of transport is OK as long as it provides an opportunity to see new places, meet new people, taste new food & enjoy new culture. We hope, our travel list is big enough to be presented in this prestigious platform…complete details can be seen at www.praful.in Some of the places we have traveled… Kanyakumari to Kashmir, Rajasthan to Calcutta & Orissa, Cochin to Konkan & Goa, Bangalore to Pune & Bombay (Mumbai), Aurangabad, Ajanta, Ellora, Shiradi, Mysore, Madikeri, Mangalore, Wayanad, Kodai, Hogenkkal, Hyderabad, Mantralyam, Shiradi, Kullu, Manaali, Himachal, Old Delhi, Agra, Mathura, whole of major Karnataka like, Chickmagaluru, Belur, Halebeedu, Hampi, Alamatti, Gokak Falls, .Jog Falls, Abbe, Talakaveri, Bhagamandal, Kolluru, Surthkal, Mangalore, Honnavar, Malpe, Moodbidre, Gokarna, Mundagod, Kushalnagar, Belgaum, Savandurga, Amboli Ghat, Vajrapoha, Doodh Sagar, Doodh Ganga, .Teerthahalli, Kolar, Hesrghatta, Mekedaatu, Talakkadu, Mysore & around, Balamuri & Edamuri, and my wife all of North India including North-Eastern Part of India that’s called “Land of 7 Sisters” In my case it’s true to say “Many more... I am passionate about Gadgets, Travel / Driving, Adventure Sports & about Nature. I am lucky to be in a profession which is my passion too…Thankfully my job provides many new opportunity to meet new people and make friends. About Geeta, my wife, she is a wonderful person, who share and compliment many of my taste. Previously she was working & now she is enjoying her life as a home maker. Her interest towards Literature, Traveling & Travel Documentation helps us a lot to maintain & update our very own travelogue…www.praful.in… Her additional skill of mass communication is a big quality, and helps us in mixing with a verity of people. We both share common interest which help us travel through a journey called ‘Life’, I am little introvert & prefer to be silent where as she is more bubbly & spontaneous with new friends. The passion for travel for both of has taught to speak as many as 15 languages together. Not a big number but we have plenty of time to learn many more languages. This ability to speak multiple languages eases the anxiety of traveling to new place. I am good at photography she compliments that quality with very meaningful & witty captions & comments on each & every photograph, thus creating an attractive travelogue together, at www.praful.in There goes a saying, ”Some times, Journey is more important than Destination” in our case this applies cent percent true, as we love this journey called life, for us being together, making & sharing the good memories are most important than the destination !!!
