I'm Anirban Biswas, a travel photographer-writer and software professional and she's Shifra Menezes, a content editor. We both are from Navi Mumbai and have been friends for almost a decade now. We both love driving -- regardless of whether we have to negotiate heavy traffic or nerve-rattling high-altitude roads. I've experience of driving on the world's highest motorable road (18,380 ft) at Khardung la pass in Ladakh, which is a great experience! Apart from my day job, I also pursue photography and my images have got through few national and international competitions and salons. Currently I shoot for an international photography agency. I mainly shoot travel, people and fine art. Shifra is a bookworm and a great adventurer. She's always looking for a break to keep her feet on the accelerator! She has traveled extensively in Maharashtra, Goa, Kerala and London. Clicking her camera every now and then is her newest hobby. We are a crazy, loony, yet daring couple, who met nine years ago, started dating six years ago and got married a year and a half ago. I work in the financial sector and Rohit works in a completely different line – media! We complement each other, I’m the planner, he’s the executor, I’m a little more reserved than he is, he’s a social butterfly, I need a plan, he’ll go with the flow. He’s completely touristy and loves being in the picture and clicking pictures. I love taking his pictures! I love my books; he loves his scale model planes. Since we both love to drive, it's easy to just get in the car and set off! If the roads are better, it's even more of a pleasure, and so one of the first things we decided ( when we got married 1 1/2 years ago ) is that we would indulge in a lot of travelling and it’s something we’ve done – be it shorter driving trips, long driving trips ( around 1600 kms ), or just getting on a train or a flight and getting out of the city! Not to mention our Firefox cycles which we take out on the weekends to go exploring the surrounding neighborhoods! Our shared passion for the color red is evident from our red car, red bike, red cycles and a lot of red in our wardrobe! Rohit is an avid blogger and has been blogging since 2006.

This usually happens just after gettng back from a nature trip! On any long weekend, chances are more than even that we are out of Bangalore and driving down to some place to be close to nature. We believe that travel broadens one's horizons and exposes oneself to various facets of life. It teaches one to accomodate other beliefs. points of view and ways of life and makes one learn all the time.

Hi friends! I am Dr. Jayesh Shah, a practising RADIOLOGIST in Baroda since last 19 Years. Have done my graduation and Post graduation from Baroda Medical college, M S University. Besides Practise I am interested in LAWN TENNIS, and make it point to play at least 4-5 days in a week. Driving has been my hobby since my college days, have taken part in few local car rallies. I participated in10th HIMALAYAN CAR RALLY last year with my friends Dr Parvinder Singh and Dr. Pundir in CORSA 1.6 I attempted to get Diploma in Automobile Engineering, during my Undergraduate days, but Medical studies leave you with hardly any spare time. But by now I am aware of lot of technicalities, just besides sitting behind the steering. Besides all adventures I am qualified Yoga Teacher a Diploma holder from M S University. My wife and my classmate, Dr. Preeti Shah, she is a Gynaecologist, practising in Baroda since last 10 years. She is the one who has been the main motivater for me and has been very encouraging for my all adventures. She has decided to join me this time, she loves nature and humanity. We have two childern and both are in Medical college at present.

We're a 'would be couple' from Delhi looking forward to tying the nuptial knot by the end of this year. I've recently completed my MBA after working for about 6 years post-Engineering and am currently on the lookout for a job and Kavita works as a freelance designer for fashion and textiles. She has currently decided that the place chosen to complete this write-up isn't really most suited for the same. Wonder whether it's the proximity to India gate or the 200 or so birds that surround the car (feeding off of some Indian snacks that an elderly uncle just threw for them) or even the music and acoustics offered by the interiors of this 15 year old Maruti! Only moving from the earlier spot and parking the car again (now facing India Gate, 4 dustbins in view, a riot control vehicle in the background and an oldie doing his early morning stretches) convinces her.

Have Road… Will Drive!!! It started like that since I got a car and you’re gonna have to pry my fingers off the steering wheel to make it stop! Apart from being a habitual highway addict, I love traveling to places to experience their history and culture. I love being on the road; and even if it’s just a long drive on a lonely night I’m sure there’ll be stories to tell once I’m back! Heck, most of the interesting people I know are travelers! Which is probably why my partner in this challenge is a girl I have known for 10 years and through thousands of kms! We have traveled through hills and valleys and beaches and fog and heat and storm and rain and traffic! It’s been amazing! We’ve both been blessed with the opportunity to travel since we were born – our fathers’ were in the Army and the undying spirit of adventure running through our veins (and drama too :P) has been with us since we could say “road”! I am a 22 year old Software Engineer working at Gurgaon and Leela Muthana is a Business Advisory consultant, working in Bangalore. Our jobs are just a way of balancing our otherwise gypsy-like lives!
