We are the couple that truly represent the coming together of perfect opposites. Meet Preeti- the flamboyant, dynamic, super-charged-girl-next-door whose mantra in life is to make others around her smile (And mind you Preeti is very good at it too)! And meet Sameer- Mr. Serious and a perfectionist to the core, his philosophy in life being -‘live and let live’! Professionally we both chose Construction Management as our forte (after B. Arch). We are working in Jones Lang La'Salle Meghraj. Married for more than 2 years now, our journey has been quite a roller coaster, as unpredictable as it could be and hitchhiking on a mentor-trainee association to becoming love-birds who flew totally apart yet became so fond of each other.

We are the best candidates because...

... of our flair for driving! We don't believe in just rushing towards our destination but we do so while relishing the pleasures that the journey offers and exploring the changes that we encounter on our way. Since we both love traveling and driving is our passion, we prefer the Road than any other mode of travel. (You see why Preeti gets air-sick is because her entire biological system is just so well adjusted to driving that it resists other modes of travel in it's own way). Sorry, jokes apart, we both would love to take this great opportunity to explore different places and people while driving the Cedia and experience whatsoever adventures come our way. We have till date participated in Maruti Suzuki Car rally, and Rally by Rashi Entertainment and won prizes for best dressed car. Uploading photographs of same in flickr.com

Our Travel Plan

Our plan for The Great Driving Challenge is to take National Highway route (NH-8) - A part of Golden Rectangle route, towards the capital city Delhi, crossing Gujrat (Ahmadabad), than Rajasthan and would like to touch Udaipur, Ajmer and than Jaipur - The Pink City. Reason behind this is that we can get chance to touch many such places that we want to. Also what we believe into is take path that is interesting and covers/ touches places of extreme importance. After touching Delhi, we will be back to Mumbai again. Is this sound feasible and intersting plan, yeah...for us it is. B'cos definitely we would like to touch Delhi for our parents, if we can get chance thru this exciting - Great Driving Challenge. By name itself, it sounds so exciting, so electrifying that we don't want to miss chance to actually feel it. Thanx.

Our Travelogue

For us, the major chunk of experience in any travel has been the Driving Experience (DE). We believe people who love to drive, who love the thrills of Indian highways and who love exploring different places can only dare to get their vehicle out for long routes. And we are 2 such people. And we have never been out of the country. Can you believe it? So what about our travel experiences? There are lots to say the least! To name a few place we have been to- Shimla, Mussoorie, Nainitaal, Goa, Mumbai, Pune, Mahabaleshwar, Lonawala , Khandala, Hyderabad, Mysore, Bangalore, Alibaag, Chattisgarh, Kerala, Jaipur, Agra, Khatu, Jammu.......Honestly we have not driven to all of these as we travel with family (who include elderly parents who can not sit in a car for that long) or extended family (like sister with her infant kid who certainly can't do a 40 hr journey by road). But we've driven to most north and north-east destinations, say more than half on the list). And our experiences lie in the excitement to move, to enjoy the pleasures of journey, to admire scenic beauty of India, to hold our breath to variety that our land offers and to be on-the-go whenever we can! Our experience lies in exploring beauties of different places in different shades........and it lies in our heart and we can feel it each moment.
