There are so many things about technology today that bother me, but one that does not are internet forums. These are so useful for times when you need a lot of advice and just do not know where to turn. It can be hard to talk to people you know in person, but posting on an internet forum makes it kind of anonymous and easier to work out what you want to say. You also have the time to think about what you want to say because you are typing and not just talking about whatever comes out of your mouth as it comes out. Of course, there are down sides to forums as well. Some people on there are outright jerks and I would never want to meet them in real life, but there are also great people who post and I have made some awesome internet friends over the years.
